They communicated about the progress on time & rectified all the issues as per external inspection report. Fortunately, our cost was same as per the contract. Your Dream Homes Become True with Orbit Homes – The hospitality is in high standard. The premises is huge and large amount of collections to choose to cater all the level of customers. Our colours appointment was an absolute highlight, thanks to Tatjana and Thomas. We consider ourselves very particular clients—after all, this is our dream home—but the dedication, care, and time they gave us were unmatched. Tatjana went above and beyond, even working over the weekend to ensure everything was sorted quickly and perfectly. Thomas helped us navigate some tricky selections, making multiple calls and trying different options to make sure we got exactly what we envisioned.

Overall house came out ok, supervisor was really good. Many issues still outstanding. Had our ceiling cut open to fix many squeak issues.It's been four months, no one has bothered to come back and patch it up properly or paint it. I have followed up with a supervisor many times. Painting work for the entire home is terrible. My 3-year-old can do a better job than what they have done. Plaster work, also a disaster in rooms where you can see massive lumps which just got painted over. Entire kitchen cabinetry work is horrendous. My 60mm stone has got chips on it , cabentry missalignment.Excessive glue left over on the cabinetry. Wrong mortar, colour for the bricks. We selected white paid extra and got grey Mortar. The build time was really quick for a 530. Square house they finished it in 10 months. Unfortunately, at a cost to the quality. Not one person has contacted me from the office afer handover to see how everything is going, you would expect when you spend a million dollars on a build to receive atleast that phone call.

What stood out most was her transparency and patience—she never rushed us, and she walked us through options around inclusions, upgrades, and site considerations in a way that was easy to understand. Her ability to balance practical advice with design insight made the whole process much smoother.
Laura also did a great job in coordinating with the internal team and keeping things moving, which gave us confidence at a stage that can otherwise feel overwhelming.

My experience with Orbit Homes has been extremely disappointing. They operate like a typical interstate business that does not care about Queenslanders. I paid them to build in Brisbane, all my meetings with them prior to building and contract was in Brisbane however once they get money and start building, they palm you off to someone in Melbourne… Read more
who does not communicate, does not reply to emails and makes it feel like nothing is happening even when there is a major complaint like I had. It is virtually impossible to meet in person with anyone responsible for resolving issues, and the overall approach feels dismissive of the customer. Orbit Homes were also significantly overpriced. Comparable builders could have saved me at least $150,000 while providing a far more respectful and professional experience both during and after the build. I have lodged a formal complaint with the QBCC, which remains unresolved more than 12 months after handover. The major defects were raised in writing more than three months prior to handover (September 2024), yet as of December 2025 they still have not been rectified. It took until August 2025 for a manager to respond at all, and the response consisted largely of deflecting blame onto staff, with no meaningful action taken since. After escalating matters to the General Manager, I experienced two scheduled maintenance appointments where no one attended—both confirmed in writing however no one showed up. This may be coincidence, but it is consistent with Orbit Homes’ broader pattern of poor communication and follow-through. Emails regularly go unanswered for days or weeks, if they are acknowledged at all. I also raised concerns in writing about what I believe to be an incorrect invoice issued at the lock-up stage. Despite repeated requests, Orbit Homes have refused to engage in a proper discussion or investigation of this matter from my perspective. I attempted to contact the owner directly on multiple occasions with no response. When I raised this with the General Manager, I was told the owner “doesn’t get involved.” Given the ongoing lack of action from management, this was both concerning and unacceptable. Across my dealings with Orbit Homes, five confirmed meetings or appointments were not attended by their staff. Additionally, during the contract signing, an Orbit Homes staff member was openly rude and ignored my partner entirely, stating: “She is not on the contract, I don’t need to talk to her.” No greeting was offered. While initially I thought this was an isolated incident, it ultimately reflected the broader culture and attitude I experienced throughout the process. There is a number of maintenance items on the build that I wanted to get done as part of the 12-month maintenance that I paid for as part of the build. I chose not to send it through as it was not worth the headaches and blame I feel I would get from the Orbit Team – there are minor things on the maintenance list that were documented in April of 2025 and still not rectified as of December 2025, the way I feel they would reply and blame someone else meant I just went without instead of trying to communicate with them about it. Orbit Homes claim they “build dreams,” but my experience has been one of unfulfilled promises, delayed responses, ignored emails, and meetings that no one attends. I would not recommend Orbit Homes.
Post care /Maintanence is a Joke!!! what I'm upset about is imo my own builder allowing me to be used outside of the scope of my contract, our binding agreement behind my back.Orbit homes touts family values and yet due to my build being delayed charged me late fees for something out of my control (national emergency) in my opinion they have no integrity and don't honour thier contracts except to thier own advantage. Beware if you choose to build with orbit homes! I wish I never had.

disorganized and rushed, I would encourage better planning to give opportunity for a smooth inspection experience to customers. An unexpected shower wall also disrupted our plans, I wish Orbit would have put in more effort in an alternate solution for us.
Building a house is a big project so I don’t expect everything to go 100%. Orbits team and service still deserves a 5-star rating and I still recommend them to people.
