I've just tried to use an Organic Coice air freshener for the first time. It will not emit a spray. Drops burst out onto the floor. I've never before come across a spray lock like this one that drops down a shaft but don't see how that can prevent a fine spray coming out of the nozzle. Is it just broken or is there some trick to it? Thanks.

if they are so keen to limit the use of plastics then why is there no larger containers for refills?

Hi I am using these products to use environmentally friendly cleaners etc (work great too) however I am wondering if you can please confirm if the plastic bottles are recyclable? Thank you.

Hi Melissa, I'm really happy you enjoy using these products, as I do, and I'm almost certain they would be recyclable. I suggest though you go to their website and have a chat with one of their customer service employees as I am just a consumer like you.

the ingredients are all natural, and I'd say it's safe, but I guess it depends on animal and child allergies (if any)

Organic choice sells a product which I was initially very impressed by, their air freshener and linen spray 'Lemongrass and Cedarwood' and I noticed that they state in their product info that air freshener 'leaves a long lasting natural fragrance derived from certified natural organic essential oils' however they list an ingredient at the end of their ingredients list as 'fragrance oil' which is non specific and could be anything including a chemicals I don't want to use. Also as a matter of interest if they are using certified organic essential oils, why have they not got the Australian certified organic logo on their ingredients list after the said organic product's listing?

I dont know the answer to this ..... I was going to check the bottle but I have run out. Must get back to Coles (usually shop at Woolworths) and restock.

Who makes Organic Choice air fresheners and are they cruelty free (that is throughout the process from the raw materials to the end product)?. Does this company sell their products to China where there is mandatory animal testing?

Hope you don't mind me answering this question. I am a director of the company that makes Organic choice and as such I concede that I am probably biased! In fact I am very passionate on issues of environment and animal and human welfare. Organic Choice is made by Aware Environmental Products. Aware is one of the leading environmental manufactures in Australia and support both animal rights and environmental programmes. Aware directly supports anti-deforestation and Orang-u-tang welfare campaigns. We are the only company to have developed a whole range of palm oil free cleaning and laundry products under the Aware brand and the Orange power brand. We have a very strong policy in regard to animal welfare and do not test any of our products on animals. We source only from suppliers who do not test on animals. I will speak to our marketing people to make this clear on the label as soon as possible.

You raise a very interesting point in regard to the Chinese market. Non of the products Aware manufactures are sold to China. We are also strongly committed to retaining manufacture in Australia. It is interesting to note that at least one of Australia's iconic household cleaning brands is know made in China, others are made in countries like Indonesia and Vietnam. One of the market leading global air freshener brands is also made in China. Not sure if this means they are tested on animals but I think it is more likely that products made in in Asia do not meet expectation of the current Australian consumer.

Anyhow hope that I haven't overstepped the mark and have answered your question,

Best Regards,

Bill
