How to fixed code errors H57?
My machine won't drain, have checked the filter, nothing in there, no water is draining out the pipe, but there is still water in the machine. When I put it on to drain it seems to try, but then it's like it doesn't realise theres water in there and skips straight to finish. Could there be a blockage else where and what can I do about it?
Hi Sarah, please give our customer service team a call on 132600 and they will assist you further.

Biggest piece of crap you can buy. Anything else even cheap Chinese or whatever will be better. We have had endless problems since day 1 when the door was replaced under warranty. Whole machine needs to be cleaned on a weekly basis. Never had 10% of the issues with our previous Samsung compared to this piece of rubbish. Because of this we will probably never ever buy another Panasonic product.
My NA-140VG3 (8yo, I think) has been brilliant and my wife will be sad if it has to go but it's making a noise that I can't trace (I'm an electrician). When you press the pause while it's spinning half speed, there's a hideous graunching noise that lasts about a second. It sounds like it might involve the pressed steel drum pulley that rings like a bell when you tap it. When stopping from full speed spin and at all other times, it's fine and it performs quietly and perfectly. My wife was unaware of the noise though it's been making it for 2 years!
Hi, I have an Panasonic na-140vg4, about 6 years old. It is making a huge groaning noise when in Wash mode. Water filling, Pumping out and spinning seem to be fine. But while washing is really loud and groaning noise. Is there a pump that could be causing thing?
HI Brena, apologies for the delayed response, we have just seen your comment. Please contact our customer service team on 132600 if you still require assistance in relation to your washing machine.
Hi there, what was the outcome of this and the cause? Mine is doing the same thing
Similar machine but NA-140VG3WXAU, now about 6 or 7 years old. Same symptom. Unimpressed. Will require a service call, and I can only imagine the callout, diagnosis, part/s replacement cost, return & fit $$$ expense will triage it a throw-away => buy a replacement machine.
I know this. It WON'T be another Panasonic. Panasonic in small appliances might be good, but in a washing machine, err,...no. NEVER again. Sorry we bought the brand. Had two Westinghouse machines previously. The first lasted 17 years, the second 14. Also disgusted that the plastic front facia of the NA-140VG3 has turned from the original appliance white to a yellowish creme colour in that time.
Hi. Today my NA-140VG3 was running fine, just pumped out the main wash and was running a final rinse when there was a loud bang then machine was totally dead (no electrics at all) with electrical smell. As there was no electrics, the door lock could not be released so I had to take the machine apart to manually release the door lock from inside. I also traced the smell to the main PCB and on removing the metal lid found that something had exploded on the circuit board and blown a whole in it (near to the copper coil winding component), I think maybe a resister? Bits of whatever it was were splattered on the underside of the metal lid of the PCB. What I want to know is if there is a know issue that could cause this component to explode as I don't want to spend over $300+ to replace the board if its something else in the machine that is causing an overload on the PCB (and thus will blow it up again). The machine is around 8 years+old and has been a super reliable machine up til now.
Hi Steve, sorry to hear about the fault you have experienced with your washing machine. Sorry but we can't provide technical advice on how to repair. You would need to engage someone that is authorized to repair Panasonic washing machines. Please contact our customer service team on 132600 for the details of a repair agent.
I have the same problem. I've had my Panasonic NA-140VG3 for 9 years and have not had any problems other than a blocked filter (my fault for not maintaining it). However, a few days ago it stopped in the middle of a cycle and there is no sign of life. There is no fault code because the power circuit has a fault - the fuse is intact but the PCB is covered in about 1cm of clear liquid plastic rubber in the plastic container it is housed. The replacement PCB and housing is $300, which is a risky purchase if the root cause of the PCB fault causes the new PCB to fail on the first cycle.
I ended up buying a 2nd hand machine which had stuffed drum bearings and swapped the board, motor and all electrics apart from the element which I tested with a multimeter to confirm worked ok. All good so far. I then had to put my old drain and circulation pumps back in as the donor machine pumps were knackered and still all good. I did discover though from looking at the donor PCB that it was a small component fuse (rather than a replaceable glass fuse which there are 2 of already on the board) which had blown up and wasted the PCB. The fuse was right next to a copper wire wound component which makes me think the fuse is possibly a surge protection fuse. Maybe it's to protect against something more serious occuring as a result of surge? Who knows. I'm not risking another PCB to test if it's the motor.
Hi there , I have a noise when the jets are pumping, just did a machine clean at 90degrees as packet instructions, Cleaned filter , just pulled drain pumps apart all good and checked all hoses for obstruction all good, listened to machine while all apart seems to be either pumps or in the internal drum, seems to worse when a heavier load is in, it is a grinding / groaning noise, machine is 6-8years old any help would be appreciated.
Thanks adam

Did you get an answer for this? We have the same issue.
They just told me to ring helpline , it must be the pumps in the bottom right hand corner , there are two joined together, one is a drain and the other must be for the jets.
Adam
Adam so did you get this fixed? Mine is making a huge groaning noise when it's in wash mode. So thinking some sort of pump issue?
It's not working and it shows H 51. Please advise?
Hi Jeff, it is an error code, please contact our customer service team on 132600 for details of the nearest service centre.

Have code H and machine has stopped and even when you disconnect from power and turn back in it reappeared
No idea sorry. I got a great new machine not a Panasonic and it was the best thing . What a piece of crap
hi Suzanne, sorry to hear about the fault with your washing machine, please contact our customer service team on 132600 for further assistance.
After many issues decided to buy a new machine, no not a Panasonic. Sorry I cannot help.
Mine was error H51. Drum was heavy to spin manually. I tried to started, then,..boom!! PCB fuse T3A on board was burn out! Why this happened? Nothing stuck in drum when I opened. When I peel off the cable into motor, easily drum spin(light).
I had different issue.Cloth wouldn’t come dry at the end of cycle
Hi Mr Ismail, we wouldn't suggest you opening the machine and changing parts yourself. Please contact our customer service team on 132600 for further assistance on the nearest service agent.
I,m a electronic technician, has 22 yrs experiences. I can read the circuit diagram. What was make me confuse is why the fuse T3A was burned out? At the same time motor was too heavy! Possibility motor made a problems first? For this model, all system brake was in motor. How to check the motor has a problems? When I take off all the connectors to motor, motor can move easily! Either board or motor was problem?
Hi Mr Ismail, we are unable to provide you with technical support.
hi did u find what the issue was?
Too long time from team to response!!....I throw away the product!!
My washing machine doesn't move drum. What is problem?
Hi Anika, please contact our customer service team on 132600 for further assistance.
Sorry, I cannot help. Bought a new machine but not a Panasonic. Too many issues.
Actually a 140VX3 - when the spray jets operate the machine makes a strange noise- does the unit use the pumps to spray water into the drum and could this cause the noise- no noise when pumping out the water
Hi Paul, have you cleaned the unit regularly? We would recommend using a washing machine cleaner, or a dishwasher detergent power ball in the drum of the unit. Select the hot 90 degree wash on a long cycle. This will help if there is anything caught up in the spray jets.
Ensure once this is done you also clean out the washing machine filter.
We regularly clean the washing machine and have thoroughly cleaned the filter area - have also ordered a new pump assembly -so will let you know once fitted if this was the issue
Hi, My machine is making a strange loud noise on the rinse cycle (it seems to be the rinse cycle), its like a grinding noise, has anyone had this happen to there's? my machine is about 6 years old.
Hi Monique, do you regularly clean the machine? Does the drum spin freely when you rotate it by hand? We would recommend using a dishwasher tablet or washing machine cleaner in the unit and running it on a long hot wash to clear anything that maybe caught in the unit.
ok i'll give that a go, i don't clean it regularly to be honest and yes it does run freely the i rotate it by hand.
Hi Monique, don't forget to clean out the filter when you do this also.
What is it when it starts the wash cycle for approx 5 or 6 mini then stops with 23 H ?
Hi Justine. Please call our customer service team on 132600.
My front loader washing machine NA-148VG3 is not pumping out the water. I have drained the water from the hoses etc bottom right of machine (several times) and still it won't pump. It will spin but won't drain the water. I am in Taupo NZ and can't get a serviceman for at least a week! Any suggestions.
Hi Christine, sorry to hear about the fault with your washing machine, you have contacted Australia, have you been in contact with Panasonic New Zealand directly? external link
Hi Where can i purchase a bearing kit for my panasonic NA-148VG3WAU Adelaide area if possible? Thanks
Any place where they selling skf ball bearing! And to change it is really easy, the whole process was 4 hours! You'll need 2 different size. As far as I remember 6205 and 6207 but the best if you push them out first and take it with you to the bearing shop. Good luck enjoy!
