The compartment for the softener is not dispensing and when the cycle is over, it is filled with water and the softener. Is there any way to fix this?
Hello there , have you pull out the tray and clean it as this did happen to me once before and I've just pulled out my tray and having a look what it could be, it could be soap suds blocking it so when you look down the the whole just to your left check to see if it's not blocked and give the tray a good clean out in the centre of it, because sometimes the soap my block it so where it says Max underneath it give it a good clean where the button pressed down once you pulled it out and have a look at the whole as well where the soap dispenser goes into because I'm looking at mine now and it's got a bit of soap suds in there as well so I'm going to give my to clean as well now just make sure the whole is on the left when you pulled the tray out as not blocked as well it's barely suggested I can think of because I've done that before and I'm doing it now and I'm looking and I'll still have some soap suds in the tray inside the machine part as well so I give it a wipe out as well. I hope that helps you Clayton
plus also where on the machine it says drum clean give him a Sheena clean at least once every couple of weeks or every once a month to clean the washing machine out and it cleans everything out for it that should help as well so I'm doing it right now given my whole washing machine a good clean thank you and I hope it helps you Clayton anchor ⚓⚓⚓⚓⚓

Our machine is making a really loud noise - on and off and sometimes for a minute or so - when rinsing (I think only on then). It still works though. I’ve run a washing machine cleaner through it and cleaned the filter. Any suggestions?!
Hi Kirsty, please contact our customer service team on 132600 for further troubleshooting assessment. SB
Front loader won’t finish last 11mins of any cycle. Have tried multiple cycle all stopping at this 11min last part , clothes are trapped inside as door locks until complete .
On the digital panel is flashing 11mins and the the letter U. Any ideas?
Hi Belly, U11 is unable to drain error. You will need to check the filter is clean and lint free. When you open the drain keep in mind you will have water come out, which depending on how much is in the machine, could be a few litres, so ensure the machine is close to a floor drain. Once the lint filter is clean, the washing machine will continue the cycle. If you have any questions please contact our customer service team on 132600.
The washing powder dosen't disolve, it stays in a clump in the tray. I use washing powder for 'front loader' machines and no matter how much or little I use or where I position it in the tray it still doesn't disolve?
You don't say which brand of powder, but I'm guessing it's one of the ordinary brands, so it's not to blame. I'm also assuming that you are putting it into the correct tray (sorry, don't mean to insult you, just covering all the bases, like they do in the detective shows.) The only thing I could suggest, especially if you use fabric conditioner (vile stuff, should be taxed out of existence!) is that there's a blockage in the water feed into the powder tray so you're not getting a full flow of water through the powder tray. Pull the tray right out, check it's clean, then shine a torch into the space and see if there's any build up of gunk there. You might also - very gently - poke a soft wire up into the hole at the back of the tray cavity to see if it's blocked.
Thank you Richard for your answer. I use either OMO or Radiant and found it happens with both. I never use fabric softener. I pulled out the powder tray and all is clean. In my model I don't have a hole at the back it is at the side up near where the powder tray slides in. All seems to be clear and no junk. I wasn't game to push a little wire down but stuck my finger down. Will try again witha wire. I am now using liquid detergent whick I'm not a huge fan of.

Something seems to be stuck in my washer and makes a scraping sound when washing which becomes dangerously loud when spinning. Can't find the part, sounds like a metal object, don't know what to do? Any ideas?
Yep, I had same problem. Turned out a pebble got between the 2 drums. It went on for months before it came out the drainage tube at front.
Hi,
Can you please send to me parts list with diagram for order parts.

Sorry I think you have sent wrong person this request I don't work for Panasonic
Machine wont finish a cycle. Wont spin properly without stopping and says to check load.cant do this now becouse door wont open and full of water. Machine is on stable surface and have used spirit level to adjust feet. Can you give me some advice?. I have never had such a bad time with any other machine. Thankyou Vicki
I had same issue. I found that the machine was eating small clothing coins etc and they where getting jammed in the interals of the machine. Not an easy fix but for me i drained the machine using a pipe attached to the lint collection drain point. Then cleaned the lint collection point. Put the machine on its back (not easy as it is very heavy) and then took the black under panel off. There is a big black pipe that connects up to 3 points in the machine if undo the clamps you will probably find all sorts of stuff in there. I Cleaned it out and ran the clothes through again and it works ok. But i have to do it every couple of months
The machine design is crap as washing machines shouldnt eat clothes like tgis and i would not recommend anyone buy one.
Also not sure if the fix would void your warranty so you should probably check prior. Also the machine is heavy +++ and would not recommend for anyone who is not handy
Exactly as above. Easy to disconnect and reconnect the pipes, but a pain to undergo this procedure. We put all small items (socks, undies etc) in washing bags now, and haven't had a problem for a while. Such a terrible design.
I just drained my via front hose till empty, then inserted pin in small hole near handle to release lock. Have only needed to do it once but have never forgotten.
How do a back burst?
I assume you refer to the 'back flush' of the washing machine drain system..?
Hook the drain pipe to a tap and turn it on full for a few seconds, pushing whatever is stuck in the pipe back out he other way.
Thanks..!
Can anyone help me with the timer on NA-148Vx. Bought it from Grays Online without a manual but downloaded one. Do I just set the programme and then the timer for how long I want? Press nothing else? When I do this it just goes off after a while and does not start wash when it's supposed to. Do I have a problem. Everything else seems fine and certainly better tan old westinghouse
Sounds like your doing it right! i set the program then then delay timer , say for 3 hr finish, then press start....the machine will 'hibernate' till time to start so it finishes in 3 hrs time. Ive had no prob the few times ive used it....hope it helps
Can you fit a king size doona in this machine?
I don't have a king size, but my queen size fits on fine. I would be surprised if it did not fit, its a decent sized drum. Hope this helps!
Do these machines have an option to adjust the water level? How many extra rinses can you add?
No known way of manually adjusting, except it weighs clothes and automatically adjusts. No idea about number of rinses, except it's probably endless, it's you who programs. Just buy it!
No option to adjust the water. It is all done by sensors so no need to ever set a water level. There is a wash program that has the extra rinse on it or if you wanted it to rinse again you could select the rinse function where you can just rinse or rinse and spin. I have never needed to use an extra rinse, everything is well rinsed during the cycle. I've never noticed any risidual washing liquid. I hope this helps :)
It helps thank you to both. I had assumed since miele had a waterplus feature to raise the water levels that other brands like panasonic had this to. Also is it true the rube seal is anti bacterial? I have seen Panasonic mention this online before but was not sure if it is marketing hype.
We're seriously looking at buying the NA148VX and wondering if there's any tips from those who have one?
See my review - just do it!
+1 Only had ours (10KG 140VX) operating a week, but so far having had a dozen loads put through it trying out the various programs it has exceeded expectations. The only surprise -didn't discover it through pre-research although it appears a front loader thing in general rather than a specific limitation of this machine- was the size/weight limitation on washing cotton blankets or synthetic filled duvets and accompanying specific warning not to wash down filled duvets. Our previous 7½KG commercial grade venerable top loader would handle both of these items of even king bed size and down filled duvets without protest.
In every other aspect, the Panasonic with its engineering and technology just dominates. My wife rates it both thumbs up and just loves it. So do I as the laundry is adjacent my PC nook/study and this machine is so quiet I don't even need to close the laundry door when it's operating.
