Hi Roja, It may be too late now but I had this same issue. It was fixed by replacing the front panel membrane switch (i.e. the control touch pad). See this link for the part required (around $70 including postage):

Although an annoying fault it doesn't take much to fix this. Best of luck with saving the oven from going to landfill!

John, had exactly the same thing happen to 5year one. Did you find anything out from Panasonic?
Hi Rossm, it was the touchpad which needed to be replaced. The local electronics repair shop recommended by PANASONIC were able to get the part and replace it for $100. All good now. Cheers.
Having the same problem with P10/beeping randomly. Is this a known issue with this product?
Hi mike333, mine is still going strong after I had the the touchpad replaced last year for $100 at the local electronics shop
I had exactly the same issue. For me the continuous power cycling and beeping started around 2:30am! It was fixed by replacing the "membrane switch" (touchpad) as outlined by John B. The replacement switch cost $65 including postage. Had the light bulb ($10) replaced also. I'm thankful that the microwave didn't end up in landfill for such a minor but critical fault.
Which Panasonic models have the ability to turn off the beep function?
After removing protective plastic on touchpad there are still bubbles, brand new unit, is there any way to remove them?.
Hi Dave if you have removed the plastic there shouldn't be bubbles, if you have just purchased the unit, please contact the retailer for further assistance.
When the microwave finishes and I open the door I have to push stop/reset if I want to use the microwave again straight away, is that normal?
Yes it's normal for this model, mine does the same thing.
What’s the piece of cardboard inside for??
Hi Peter, it is called the wave guide cover, it is to protect the internal workings of the microwave.
Thanks for letting me know because mine is broken will it be a problem???
Hi Peter, you definitely need a waveguide cover. Please contact our customer service team on 132600 who will be able to refer you to the nearest service agent.
How can I add 1-9 seconds e.g. if I want to heat/cook something for 55 seconds? Seems the only seconds options I have on my NN-ST665B are multiples of 10. Not satisfactory! Have I missed seeing how I could add 1-9 seconds?
No this is correct unless I'm missing something as well. It is very annoying.
What is weight of this model 665?
According to the manual 11.5kg
