Hi. I have the 8 L and I want to slow cook. How do I choose the temperature between high and low? The info book says press the temp button and choose, but I press it nothing comes up.
Hi. can i set an accurate temperature? eg. i need to do 38C for some yoghurt. if not, what temp is the yoghurt setting. also, is it possible to increase the longest time the unit will heat for eg. 36 hours (seems like 12 is the max) thx
Hi there, Thanks for reaching out! Unfortunately it's not'possible to set a specific temperature on this model. The settings are predefined for various cooking modes, including the Yoghurt function. For making yogurt, the cooker typically maintains a temperature of approximately 40°C. Regarding your second question, it is unfortunately not possible to extend the maximum cooking time over 12 hours. If you need a longer duration, you may have to restart the cycle manually after the initial 12 hours. We hope this was helpful!

Hi my HD2137 seems to have an issue when slow cooking on low (possibly high as well). Whike slow cooking at low temp it will achieve and hold appropriate temperature for the majority of the cook however in the last 20-30 minutes it seems to just run full heat to the point where whatever is cooking boils violently and steam and hot liquid will spurt out of the top vents. The cooking vent is always in the vent position when slow cooking and I have confirmed it is clean and operating correctly.
Hello, Thanks for bringing this to our attention. That doesn't sound normal, so we kindly ask that you refrain from using the Cooker for the time being. Please contact us when you can, so we can take a closer look!

Hi , i understand that pressure cooker non stick pot inner side coating is PTFE
May i know outer coating is made from what material ? Is it PTFE too ?
Hi, thank you for your message. We appreciate your interest in our pressure cooker. The outer coating of the non-stick pot is made from stainless steel, which is durable and easy to clean. However, the inner coating is PTFE, which is a non-stick material that can prevent food from sticking to the pot.

I have had my slow cooker for about 2 years. In the middle of making a curry, it just shut down. The display lights show nothing when it’s plugged in.
My old one started doing the same thing, although I had it for five years and I just replaced it. Two years however is not good. I strongly recommend that you contact Philips. At the risk of stating the obvious, have you checked the connection at the back

Hi guys I've had my Phillips multicooker for about 3 years now and love it. But the last few times I have used it for slow cook and pressure cook the meat has come out hard and undercooked. I also noticed that the seal is incredibly loose and I have to manually try and keep it in place while I place the lid on, I am hoping this is the cause of the cooker not functioning properly. I would lovexsome feedback 8f anyone else has had the same issue. This device was my life saver during covid !! The original reason I purchased it. TIA Amanda
Hi Amanda, thanks for your review. Great to hear that you've been enjoying the cooker for a while now! Assuming that the settings have not changed, the seal being looser than usual may cause this issue. Our team would be happy to assist you in finding a replacement part.

I have one of these Multi purpose cookers and love it! But in curious why I can't change the temperature setting at all. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!
Do you have the 6 or 8 litre model. You can not change the slow cook temp on the 8 litre model.
Hi Nadine, Thanks for reaching out. It is indeed not possible to change the temperatures when using the All-in-One Multi-Cooker, as the temperature for each setting is already programmed on the device. We hope this clarifies!

I have one of these cookers and it works perfectly every meal. I am however curious of the Max operating pressure and temperature as I can't find this info in the manual, thanks
Most pressure cookers get to about 15 psi ( pound per square inch) and will reach a temperature of around 120 degrees centigrade.
Thanks
Which function to use for cooking beans?
Hi Chan, Thank you for reaching out. This really depends on the kind of beans you'd like to cook. There is no specific function on the multicooker for cooking beans, so this is entirely up to you! The pressure cooker stopped during cooking no power it is two years old
This is what happened to mine, although fortunately after five years. I could restart it but it would power off every 20 minutes. As stated in my review ANF after heavy usage, l decided it did not owe me a cent. As yours is only 2 years old, you could contact Philips customer service.

I'm wondering is there a time limit on the keep warm function on the all in one cooker? I need to slow cook my meals and I'd like them to stay warm until all the contents are finished. Thanks
Hi Bousa, Thank you for sharing your question with us. The maximum cooking time regulating range of the Multi-cooker is 12 hours, so you'll have some time to finish all the contents. Hi I have Philips multi cooker HD2237/72, it was working great before, I wonder why the buttons are not working all of the sudden?? I cooked soup with slow cooker mode yesterday and turned up very nice. Today I want to reheat and warm it up, but I cant pressed any of it… when I turned it on, the light was showing on “saute high temp” with cooking time 00:02. Even this I cant press “cancel” or “start”. I also cant press ANY of other buttons. What the solution that possibly I can do from home? Thanks
Hi Jeanne, Thank you for reaching out. We're sorry to hear the buttons don't seem to work anymore. Could you try to unplug it for half an hour and try again, You can also try different outlets. My brand new Philips all in one multi cooker doesn’t release steam when I turn it to vent after using the pressure cook function. Have used twice and has happened twice. No noise or steam
If you have allowed the cooker to de- pressure naturally ( natural pressure release NPR) after it’s set cooking time, then there will be no steam. Eg you pressure cook for 30 minutes. At the end of 30 minutes the device stops cooking. If you leave it, the pressure will slowly naturally release over about 20 minutes as the pot cools down. The only other reason would be that it is not pressurizing in the first place, but you would notice this as your food would not be cooked. Hope this helps.
Thank you kindly
Hi Leigh, thanks for taking the time to share your experience. We hope the tips mentioned above helped out! If not, it might be the case that the cap nut is loose. In that case; please have a look at the tips mentioned on this page: external link

I have used my pot for a while, now suddenly when I heat it up it does not register any pressure and it shows are zero at all times. I am not sure how to resolve this, is there something I need to clean or fix?
Hi everyone, as I'm relatively new to cooking due to circumstance, I have fallen in love with this gorgeous all in one cooker. My question is when cooking minestrone soup in the pressure cooking mode, can I pause it later on in the cooking mode to add the pasta once I depressurise the cooker? Thank you
Sorry I'm not sure, typically it's not the type of equipment you pause but you can cancel, release the pressure (carefully using the wooden spoon method) and maybe start again but this is risky and you'd need to find out from PHILIPS exactly. Look up recipes online - they help a lot.
Thank you so much
