My parking brake light no longer works. 2016 MP3-500. Shop said need to disassemble the whole front end area to repair. Is there an easy fix or adjustment for this brake lever so the light will function again?

After rolling my MP3 500 from one spot in a public garage to another to protect it from the recent winter storm, I’m finding the rear wheel has locked up. The parking brake handle felt stiff

when I first tried to disengage it, but now seems loose; and the wheel isn’t moving.

Suggestions ?

Parking brake Cable is common problem.. WD40 into the Shirt.. On-Off-On several times and should be OK

Thanks I’m definitely going to do that right away. The bike is actually functioning now. I suspect the cable took a bit to defrost on it’s own given the sub zero weather.

I have the same problem but my back tire will not move at all. I just tried the WD40 thing and the tire is still jammed. Mine a 400cc and also the engine is dead. I cant move the bike because of the back tire not being able to move. I tried the brake lever and it goes up and down but nothing happens that helps the back tire move. Suggestions ?

Best to consult your Owners Manual or ask your nearest Piaggio dealer. I have heard 20,000km being suggested for a belt and roller change.
