The two legged plastic pivoting bracket that activates the on/off valve has snapped. Can I purchase this bracket rather than throw the unit away? Tom

Timer not working,,,
Not sure what your question is.
My timers fail without warning. Even when they return to start mark they don’t shut off
This seems to be a problem with some of these timers. I won’t buy them anymore and this is the only fix I know except to return them and get your money back if they are under warranty. Can’t recommend a replacement though.
I use Pope 2 hour tap timers to water the garden & vegies. Every so often a timer fails to turn off Timer dial works OK, turns to zero but does not shut water off. I have opened timer up & made sure it's clean & no blockages & retested but still same problem. I have these timers on every tap & need them to be reliable as we only have pressurised tank water on our rural property & every drop is precious! I would be very grateful for any ideas on how to repair this fault. Thanks
Sorry, I'm no help on fixing. You have done what pope told me too do. Didn't help either so I had to buy a different brand. I've had 5 out of 6 have issues. Some did what yours is doing, 1 wouldn't count down below 60mins and the other one got down to 15 mins. Frustrating isn't it too waste water. We had 1 stay on and drained one of our 5000gallon tanks
Thanks Dale. Do you recommend another brand?
we've been trying neta tap timers. So far so good, still lack faith in tap timers but in 2 years we haven't had any fail to turn off yet.
Will give them a try! Thanks Dale
We have seven two hour Pope water timers ! I find them fairly reliable but on occasions they don’t turn off . I’m getting good at dismantling have found earwigs or ants work there way up the hoses into timers . I blow out put back together and are okay again. It would be good to have a YouTube video to show people how to do. I have noticed a couple of changes to pin with tiny seals on the later model? Regards Allan D
Hi Allan,
Thank you for your feedback.
We don't advise people to dismantle these units as there are small parts and springs which could pop out when opened and cause injury.
Regards, The Pope Team
If they were any good we wouldn't need to take them apart.
