We have a 2017 regent discovery 19ft .Is there way to reduce fan noise it quiet loud on and off including noise out side . There no problem but have just found the fan loud on & off and quirt annoying . It been like that since we had it brand new .
Yes that’s how they are some new models have inverter units which are much quieter inside
The solar panel is not charging the battery, just wondering watch to check for.
my single solar panel does not charge that well also, that's why i bought a solar blanket and hook it straight to the battery. Just make sure all cables are connected and power lead is out of van plug. Worst case is your BM Pro CONTROLLER needs attention
What do I need to get my reversing camera working
Sorry my Caravan is 2017 and doesn't have one.

I would never buy another regent

Were can l get a monitor for my Regent discoverer 2021 19.6 as the old owners taking it with them
If you are talking about your 12v TV your local caravan dealerships or spare parts could help? otherwise try google.
Should have said it was the reverse camera Monitor they have taken
We are due to pickup our 19’6 discoverer in feb we are concerned about the quality of the cabinetry after going back several times to look at the display ones the workmanship was very shoddy. We have been told it will be fine but I’m concerned. Has anyone had problems when picking up their new van .
the only problem we have had with the cabinetry is the edge stripping tends to peel away from surface, ( we glued back on ) and the sliding doors tend to loose there tracking, ( they need to be tightened now and again. and one last thing, the wardrobe on either side of bed is not long enough to hang clothes in, other than that, I'm pretty proud we own a Discoverer.
Hi, our Regent is a 2017 mofel and we have done a lot of k's in it. So far the cabinets look good. Hope that helps.
We had a new leaky piece of rubbish
Regent discovery 17 ft 6 ,2018 is it an off-road van and are they any good ,can’t get a lot of info seems they aren’t making that size any more and we looking to buy out of state without view with covid
Hi, our 2017 Regent has worked well although not an off road van so it's difficult to give a comparison.
Thanks
What is the best WDH to suit the 19'6'' Regent Discoverer
I have always used the Hayman Reese hitch. For the Regent I bought the hitch with the bent bars which make a lot less noise than the socket ones. Hayman Reese also have a towbar that locks the hitch receiver in solid. Anything you can do to keep that area locked in is good, I had to make shims for my Ford tow bar on the Everest as the play was a nuisance. Regards Ian.
Thanks for your response Ian. Do you have a 19'6" Discoverer? If so what length hitch? 28" 0r 30". and will any Hayman Reese fit the draw bar? Regards, Joe
Hi value 1st. Are you still happy with your van after 2 years? What would you change or recommend?
The Caravan is going well, we have had a lot of use out of it and the layout which we altered works perfectly for us. I would specify a removeable ladder for bunk access, my wife doesn't think the quality of the 'Swift' oven is comparable to our previous caravan oven (Jayco). Specify a higher load rating than 400 kg which is the normal ammount given. The silver paint on the chassis is very poor.
Thank-you - much appreciated!
I am thinking of buying a discoverer 19.6 I notice that the 2 water tanks are forward of the front axal I thought they would have 1 in front and 1 at the back for better weight balance . Has anyone noticed any sway problems .
I would assume that Regent would have the their weights sorted out. Our Caravan tows very well, we use a Hayman Reese weight distribution hitch which prevents the van bouncing around in the vertical plane. At least 10 % of the van weight should be on the ball, very important. Ask for an increased Payload if possible as if you carry 2 full water tanks and 2 gas tanks that equals half the normal 400 kg load limit which leaves 200 kg which sounds a lot but isn't. It's amazing how much 'stuff' gets through the door. Consider a MaxxFan with a rain dome, we have a Fantastic fan which is useless in the rain.
I would assume that all caravan manufacturers would have their weights sorted out but reading about the many problems that people have with a new van that seems not to be the case. I have an easylift wdh and I will ask for an increased payload as they are going to put a 3.3 ton cruisemaster on. Thanks for your reply
