Is it safe for my 84yr old mum...she has AF? Thanks..

gazalvan
gazalvan

CONSULT YOUR MOTHER’S G.P. FIRST. We are both 85 and use foot and pad programs several times daily and find them beneficial. If your mother has atrial fibrillation, she should consult her doctor prior to using any pad programs as the instructions from Revitive specifically state something like this “ not to be used near the heart or if a pacemaker or similar is fitted”.

Have been using several weeks at a setting that is comfortably tolerable. I have found recently small areas that appear like small red dots on my ankles. Stimulation too high?

Hi Kaz, We haven't heard of this happening before, we aren't sure what the cause might be. If it's of concern to you we recommend you speak to your doctor. Warm Regards, Revitive Australia

My revitive medic coach does not rock

Bad Santa
Bad Santa

Hi Andy. I experienced the same problem initially. I found I needed to up the setting until, I experienced the rocking motion. It relies on the muscles being sufficiently activated to get the unit to involuntary rock. You may have to take a little time adjusting and getting used to the pulsing to achieve this. Hope that has helped.

Revitive
Revitive   DM

Hi Andy, Bad Santa is spot on, it is the muscles in your legs that cause the involuntary rocking. The rocking is caused by muscle contractions in the legs, and the resulting ankle movement allowed by the IsoRocker is a good indicator that the intensity level is sufficient to provide the therapy. You can continue to increase the intensity, but it should not be allowed to become uncomfortable. Note that the intensity required may vary from day to day based on how hydrated you are. I suffer form night cramps I am wandering if this would help

FrodoBaggins
FrodoBaggins

Hi Alan. I bought the medic mainly for poor circulation and swollen feet and it helps me greatly. I used to get a lot of cramps before I used the medic program but now I haven’t had them since. Maybe you could try a cheap refurbished model to see if it helps you which is what I did. When I found the cheaper model helped so much I forked out the money happily for the medic. Hope this helps.

Alan K
Alan K

Thank you I will look into it

Revitive
Revitive   DM

Hi Alan, Cramps are often caused by poor circulation and users may see an improvement in their cramps if this is the underlying cause. Those who experience night cramps often benefit from using Revitive in the evening before bed.

Because we know people are different and we don't always know the underlying cause of the leg symptoms, we do offer a 60 day money back trial on our brand new devices which gives you the opportunity to try it for yourself and see if you are getting relief. OR as FrodoBaggins mentioned we do have refurbished devices available through eBay (or you can call us directly if you prefer - please note that the 60-day trial is not applicable to refurbs).

If you'd like to get more info or would like to chat further please feel free to call us on 07 5443 9767

Warm Regards, Actegy Heath Australia.

Can this be used for a second person

Revitive
Revitive   DM

Hi Mandy N. It certainly can. Both users can download the app and set up their own therapy plan. The main thing to remember when there are multiple users is that when you finish your session to fully close the app (this means to 'swipe-up' the app rather than simply close the screen). This will ensure the device severs connection with user 1 and user 2 can then easily connect.

If you need more direction, please feel free to have a chat to our Customer Service team and they can talk you through it - 07 5443 9767.

Revitive
Revitive   DM

Hi Stuart B, Revitive is not specifically indicated to assist with Restless Leg Syndrome but it sounds like this is being managed by your medication. Revitive can assist with leg aches & pains, swelling and cramps associated with poor circulation. It is difficult to say if it will assist in your case but we do offer a 60-day money back trial so you can give it a go and see if you get relief. You can read more about it here: external link

Revitive

Hi Lorraine, If you purchase the thigh pads through the app, it will unlock the knee programs and we will send the pads to you directly. If you prefer to call us, please have your device handy so our Customer Service team can get some numbers off you (the RIN number which is on the sticker on the back). They can then get the knee programs activated.

I purchased a Revitive Medic Knee machine which came with two body pads for the knee. When I tried to link up my phone on the App it told me I couldn’t access the knee program until I purchased two body pads. Since I already had the pads I didn’t need to buy any more but now I can’t access the program for the knees. What can I do?

Revitive
Revitive   DM

Hi Suzyq, If you purchased the knee bundle, you're right - the knee programs should be unlocked. This may be an issue with the software. If you could send us an email we should be able to fix this up easily.

Could you email us at info.au@actegy.com with your name, contact number and the number on the back of your device that starts with the word REVITIVExxxxxxx.

If its easier, you can call us on 07 5443 9767.

can 2people use same revitive medic 1 with phone and 1 manually ,USE WITHOUT PHONE?

Revitive
Revitive   DM

Hi James L, The short answer is yes however the functions are a little limited. Using the device manually, a user can use Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS) via the footpads and EMS via the body pads.

To switch body pad modes to TENS or to change the footplate program from Medic (standard) to vigorous the user will need the App. The app also tracks progress, coaches the user to the best intensity and can provide reminders.

If we can provide more specific detail, please feel free to give our Customer Service team a call - 07 5443 9767.

Hi Robert F. Do you want to use multiple sets or purchase them? The device is only capable of using 1 set at a time however, we do sell the body pads as packs of 4 (2 pairs). Thigh pads are only avaliable as single pairs.

Can more than one person use the same unit.

Revitive
Revitive   DM

Hi Suellen T. Yes, you can have multiple users on the one Coach device. Each user would download the app to their phone and set up their own user account. The main thing to remember when you have two users linked to the same Revitive, is to fully close the app each time a session is complete ('swipe up' the app on your phone so it is not running in the background).

Can I purchase a remote to use with the RMC or will it only work with the app? If I purchase a RM can it be upgraded afterwards to the RMC? If so what extras need to be purchased?

Revitive
Revitive   DM

Hi Melcoin, The Medic Coach is controlled only via smart phone - there is no remote control option. There are some basic control options via the device itself, but to get the most out of the device, smart phone is recommended.

The Medic model is operated via a remote control. It cannot be upgraded with accessories to become a Medic Coach however we do offer an upgrade discount for anyone who is an existing Revitive user who would like to upgrade to a new device.

If we can be of further assistance, please feel free to give us a call - 07 5443 9767.

Yes you certainly can.

Revitive

Hi Gary S. Yes you can have two users with your Medic Coach. Each user will need to download the application to their phone and set up their own account. Each user will need to pair to the device. Sometimes if you are both in the room at the same time, the person who is NOT using the device may need to ensure that they do not have their App running in the background of their phone (you can do this by 'swiping up' the app to ensure it is fully closed).

If we can offer any assistance please feel free to call our Customer Service line and they can help walk you through the process. 07 5443 9767

Just received my medic coach last night and have used it. Started slow and got up to 80. At the end of the 30 mins it said “5 minutes rocking time for target”. What does that mean?

Kate
Kate

Ricking means you need to push it back in use that us by lowering the feet bringing them back without lifting your feet if the pads you git to . 80. well done if I go over 48 I get very sore ankles well done I’ve found it seems to work on fluid retention Kate

Revitive
Revitive   DM

Hi Karen36 Kate is right - the rocking minutes are the minutes that you are getting ankle joint movement. These heal-toe raises happen involuntarily when you are getting strong muscle contractions. The notification you received is the device letting you know that you had 5 minutes where your feet were not rocking.

This is nothing to worry about - it often occurs during the softer waveforms. If you want to hit your target you can do a few extra minutes, but you've still had a good therapy session.

Kate mentioned hydration - this is also a great point. Electrical Muscle Stimulation is improved when our bodies and skin are well hydrated (mosturiser on the feet, drinking plenty of water). This is a great tip for these dry winter months.

Hope this helps. Actegy Health Australia.

Fred

I have a metal knee. Can I use medic coach?

Revitive
Revitive   DM

Good morning Fred, When you say you have a metal knee, I take it you have a metallic implant in one of your knees. You can continue to use Revitive Medic Coach Circulation Booster even with a metallic implant. Only one thing to take note of when using Revitive with a metallic implant: The stimulation may feel more intense close to the metallic implant. Try adjusting the intensity to a more comfortable level. It is safe to continue to use provided no pain is experienced.

If you experience pain near the implant when applying electrical stimulation, discontinue use and seek advice from your doctor.

If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out to our Customer Team at 07 5443 9767.

Warm regards, Actegy Health Australia
