My rose hip capsules actually say to take 5 in morning and 5 in evening. I decided to see how I would go just taking 5 in morning. They have been working fantastically for me. I'm very happy with them.

It’s for dogs, humans, horses. All can consume from the same container as it’s the same product no matter which type of pack you buy. They have 50 percent off specials regularly if you sign up to their newsletter.
Has anyone's dog become clingy and shivering after taking this product my little man is acting strange
We have not experienced any side effects and I take the human version of the product and not experienced any adverse effects. If anything I found the the results to be very gradual, it does work but nothing that particularly has a sudden change.
I have just started using this product RHV after I had bought some for my horse which I thought was helping the horse, although I think there may be another problem with the horse, so this product may not help her as I'd hoped it might. However I purchased some for myself and I am concerned about the fact that the powder has sharp hard particles in it, you can't crunch them up and they tend to get stuck in your teeth (if you are using the capsules you wouldn't notice this of course), is there anyone out there that is using the powder noticing this as for me it is a concern.
Hi there my 14 year old lab has been fantastic on this product. She was moving around like she was a puppy again. After a few weeks of taking this I noticed the hair on her tail and body started to fall out. I stopped giving her the rosehip powder and her hair has started to grow back. Obviously my dog is allergic to this product is there anything else she can take or recommend me as her mobility was fantastic on this product.
Has anyone had their dog begin to vomitater taking Rose-Hip Vital. He has had 4 full days of loading dose and now has been vomiting and not eating. This is the only thing different in his world.
Same with my dog

Can this be taken if your on Warfarin ( Coumadin)
Our 7 y old shepherd rotty cross was on this for 2 weeks and we have had to take her off it as her symptoms increased to the stage that she could hardly walk she was staggering like a drunk 3 days later she has started to return to previous normal ! Why is this ??????
My dog has developed a terrible itch. She bites and scratches to the point where she breaks the skin. We don't know why this occurs. Baths don't seem to assist. I am wondering whether this product could provide her with some relief.
I never bought this product for itchiness. Not sure if Rosehip is for allergies, its a rather expensive product imo. My dog had no benefit from it. You could try an elimination diet, go grain free. Look at any raw food and treats you may give. some dogs are more sensitive. Failing that there are products called Apoquel Tablets or Cytopoint injections, prescribed by a vet. I use the tabs but am considering the injection this season. Both products give quick relief to allergies like Atopic Dermatitis.
Can Rose Hip Vital canine help my dog with elbow dysplasia?
It may help reduce inflammation but it won’t fix the dysplasia, that can only be corrected with surgery
have not used it on animals have no pets at present, but agree with Jodi may help with inflammation All the best Ginnia
can rose hip cause diarrheal or a bad fart smell
Hi peter. I had no reaction to rose hip vital. Also no benefit to my arthritis.
Peter Rose hip has been nothing but a Godsend to me, have had no such side effects. I am moving a lot better pain has deceased I swear by it, I take the full dose recommended, you may need to take it for a few months to see results but after taking it for 2 years now I believe because it is in my system it keeps me going. All the best with it.
Peter, I don't know if you are talking about you or your dog ;-) but oh my goodness I have the same question; my dog has been on it for about 2 weeks and the smell is awful for about a week now, it didn't start straight away so I'm unsure if RHV is the cause. She is not keen to eat her food with it on now but does eventually, again, not sure if there's another underlying issue or if it's the RHV. Did you persevere with RHV? what was the outcome?
Hi there, our Border Collie is 12 and a half years old with arthritis in her hips and back legs. I would like to try her on Rose Hip Vital Canine but she is also diabetic. She has 10 IU's of Caninsulun, morning and night. Would it be safe to give it to her Rose Hip Vital Canine? She has been on Sashes Blend for years but I don't think it is helping that much anymore. Thankyou
Of course you could check with your Vet but I personally would be confident giving it to her. Milly, my Shih Tzu has a liver shunt and on a very strict low protein diet for life and has had no adverse effects from Rose Hip Vital. She was taking arthritis tablets from her Vet while first taking Rose Hip Vital and on day 11 she jumped out of her bed and started running around like a puppy instead of a 10yr old dog. That was the day we threw away the drugs and I have kept her on Rose Hip Vital daily ever since and she shows no sign of arthritis at all.
Thank you Milly02
I noticed the directions on the rosehip vital caps for people say 5 caps twice a day, however I recall hearing to build up to that dose, can you suggest a more detailed approach? Thank you, lg
That is correct. You take 5 caps twice a day. Never heard of building up to that.
