Do sheets ball up?
Hi Annette Yes quilt coverts ball up. I’d suggest maybe throwing in some of those laundry balls to keep it from balling up. Also ensure buttons or clips are closed so it doesn’t ball up and maybe only dry the quilt cover on its own bed sheets not so much balling up happens
so, can I assume the dryer does not reverse tumble to avoid balling up? For such an expensive machine this is a definite negative to purchasing one.
Hey Annette, sheets do frequently ball up. It does depend however how much space you have in the machine and also how high the heat is , and also if you are using things such as laundry anti balling balls to prevent balling up. This balling does happen with many products and is not specific to one machine. Usually sheet don't ball up if done correctly.
Gilbert Samsung AU
Gilbert. I have just replaced my Miele dryer with a Samsung Heat Pump. The 20 year old Miele never balled up the sheets but the Samsung balls up after3-4 turns because the tumbling is way too fast and stay on the one direction too long (before reversing). Also it will only dry 1 sheet at a time because, if more than 1, the sheets in the middle of the ball are stll wet. Further, the Ai is all B....S... it only works on time not on moisture -there is no moisture measurment). On the credit side it works fine with Towells and clothind, provided you are careful with the mix. Also the Washing Machine is great, though the spin speed is only 1400 Patrick Lyons lyonspj@outlook.com
