Sanitarium Light ‘n’ Tasty Macadamia & Honey with Oat Clusters Questions & Answers

I wrote to them, they replied saying “due to lack of support it has been deleted from their product line”. However, since you liked it as much as I did then you might like the new cereal I have settled on which is Kelloggs Just Right Fusion granola + cereal, almonds and cashews. It is a new cereal. The original Just Right was my long time cereal until they changed it which originally lead me to Sanitarium Light n tasty. After losing that I tried everything (except homebrand equivalents) and nothing was satisfying. Kelloggs released the Fusion version of Just Right recently and I was happy enough with the first spoonful to say this is my new cereal. Hopefully you will find yours.

I haven't been able to buy some for some time. First up I bought them from Woolworth's. They stopped stocking them so I went to Coles. Then they stopped stocking them so I assumed Sanitarium was no longer making them.

I am concerned about this too. Woolworths stopped stocking it, for the 2nd time, a few months ago so I have been buying from Coles. I just checked their online site, it isn’t there. I have messaged Sanitarium and waiting for a reply. When it was discontinued previously I tried every other cereal on the shelf and nothing equalled the satisfaction of Light n tasty. It is still on Sanitarium’s website though.

Update, Sanitarium have confirmed “due to lack of popularity” they have pulled this cereal from its line of products. I really believe that supermarket tactics of copying products and selling them for less is really damaging the market for authentic products because it pushes up the price of originals which then struggle to survive, and the copies, in my experience, never live up to the original quality. I am so disappointed.

This was the only cereal that we have found that we both liked gave it to our friends to try and they ate the same very disappointed

No, not at either local Indooroopilly stores for quite while, around Oct I noticed it dwindling or already gone!

I contacted Sanitarium who said that because of lack of demand they are no longer making this product :(

Diana, I have tried coles, Woollies and IGA and I cannot find it anywhere. I have asked friends of mine to check in their places as well to no avail. Sanitarium have stopped making this particular cereal. I question that it was a lack of demand. I think it was the case of Coles and Woollies bullying once again because all Coles and Woollies now stock Uncle Toby's cereal all in new combinations that is a similar to the light and tasty combination. Just my opinion

I can't find any sanitarium products in any supermarkets. I know that Dick Smiths cereal is now made by some other company too. Absolutely do not believe that it was due to a lack of demand. More like Coles and Woolies put the screws onto sanitarium. A very sad state of affairs.

I contacted Sanitarium directly & they no longer make this cereal as tgey said the demand wasn't there to keep making it - I'm shattered

Yes Meena, we tried it as to us the description and photo on the front of the box looked very similar to the sanitarian, Macadamia & Honey Oat clusters. It was disgusting. Like eating cardboard and tasted like cardboard ( or what one would imagine cardboard tasted like) we had to end up putting some honey nut clusters in with it just so it was edible.

Hi there, I feel your pain. I am still looking around but they have disappeared off the Sanitarium website as well so not a good sign.

They have stopped making it, and I am not happy about that either, I really enjoyed having my morning bowl of light & tasty macadamia and honey.

I would say once stock is gone thats it no more. I had to check 3 local supermarkets here in SA to get the last box of the berry flavour. I have not yet heard if it is a supply issue but it does look like it may be no more.

I saw it in Coles Southport today. I contacted Sanitarium a couple of weeks ago and they told me they'd dropped Berry from the range but didn't mention dropping Macadamia.
