Scanpan 6 / 8.5L Questions & Answers
VerifiedI have just got a used scan pan pressurecooker, but I could not findthe manual. Is it possible for you to give me the manual so I can safley use my parents pressure cooker from Scanpan? I have tried Google
Hi Anita.
Please advise your email address and I will send you a pdf. Thanks, Steven
Anita. B Scanpan Australia has on their website the User Guide. Google Scanpan Australia 6 Litre Pressure cooker User Guide. It is a PDF. The lid seal is readily available. Main thing to get used to is the heating. The Pressure cooker is very energy efficient so lower heat is better once at pressure.
I too have an older scan pan and it has two different valves that can be used . I no longer have the instructions and the times have come off the lid. Where can I get a copy of the operations instructions please. It has one long handle and a short one on the opposite end. Help please
Good morning Jeanette, Would it be possible to please contact me via email info@globalpremiumbrands.com.au and I will help you further

Dear Rahman,
please advise what has happened to your PC handle.
I have had a Scanpan Pressure for years and have lost instructions for use. it is a Scanpan 6/8.5 litres. Where can I get these instructions.
Sorry I have no idea where you might get instructions. Best to google it probably. Good luck.
Where can I buy valve spare parts for Scanpan 8.5L?
I don't know exactly where but if you go to Scanpan's website you should be able to find where to buy parts. Good luck.
are spare gaskets & the little rubber ring on the inside of the lid still available for this model
Little rubber ring /washer no longer available from Scanpan or agents. Scanpan suggested I might like to consider their new model. No thanks. I prefer not to throw good money after bad.

How do I use the scanpan pressure cooker ?
We have up on ours as the sealing was so hit and miss. There is a design fault with the unit that cannot be fixed. Scanpan will tell you a load of BS about replacing this little seal or that but the bottom line is the things just dont work. We now have a Tefal pressure cooker that is brilliant
