Sunbeam Cafe Series Contact Grill & Barbeque GC8900 Questions & Answers

We’ve had this truly fantastic grill for approx 8-10 years and it’s amazing. However, lately I’ve been cooking much more meat on it and I’m not sure how to clean it properly. All I used to do was use plain hot water and a sponge (when on high heat) but not sure if the surface may need recoating as it visibly looks a though it’s wearing and it’s slightly harder to clean. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks AJ
