Tefal Acticook P43015 Questions

My anticook timer on my pressure cooker is just running through the time without working in the way it used to which was that I could set the timer , put it on the gas and when it reached boil it would alert me and I’d turn the gas down and it would cook for the required time. I just replaced the battery with a CR 2025. Have I got the wrong size battery or have I done something wrong?

I too have had issues with this timer after the first couple of years. It seems to work intermittently as it ages, despite replacing the battery. I wouldn't trust it, I set the alarm on my smart watch now days as a backup.

Hi guys I’ve just come across a second hand Acticook ( soo excited ) with timer, but don’t have an instruction book ? Does anyone have one or could you post up instructions on how to use the timer please ?

Hi, put it in the top and use the + to set the time you need to cook your meal. It will alarm and start counting down when the pressure gas been reached. At this point you need to reduce heat by about 1/3 and then wait for it to count down to zero. I do risotto for about 7 mins, beef casserole for about 16 mins on the high pressure setting. Use the low pressure setting for seafood /fish.

I would try a second new battery and then if it's still not working just call Tefal.... 1300 307 824.

You will have to contact them for a warranty claim by the sounds of it. I haven't had any problems with mine so you may have just got a faulty one. Just give them a call and go from there. :)

Honestly I have no idea. I was not aware there was one without the timer however I will say that I find the timer a big advantage, especially with my attention span! lol.
