Hello I have the S2226. Works well. I have the Chainsaw attachment. Works well. Yesterday I bought the Edger attachment also from Bunnings. Got home and tried to fit. Didnt have that butterfly connection bit. Went back and raided one from a extension bar box. Went home. Won't fit onto the edger drive rod at the top, both male ends. Help please. Guys at Bunnings know nothing. The edger I bought off the shelf they didn't know they still had

TTS2226 5 years old. Never had an issue. Starts now, and sits on mid throttle. When giving full throttle it cuts out. Have cleaned the filters, new spark plug and changed fuel. Is the carby clogged...?

I don’t know if this will help but If you are having problems with it connecting you may need to check with where you purchased it from. I had an issue with the edger attachment I purchased. The box and instructions advised that it would connect to my model however it would not engage and was out by about 1/2 inch. I thought I must be fitting it wrong but I went back to Bunnings and spoke to one of the guys who found that I needed to purchase a small adapter due to a slight design change in my particular model. It didn’t tell you this on the box or instructions though.
Otherwise I reckon if you emailed Victor they would send you a PDF of instructions to look at.
i had same issue with the edger attachment, but they dont give you it with box. you can pull off from another one but still has some engageing issues
