Hi! I need a new paling fence for my backyard and the existing paling fence removed. THE HOLES FOR THE POLES MUST BE DEEP ENOUGH and PLENTY CONCRETE IN THE HOLES TO MAKE SURE THAT THE FENCE WILL NOT LEAN OVER TIME. I have had my paling fence replaced several times as it has leaned a few years after each installation ! This is extremely annoying. Hi Be, we only build fences that do have deeper holes, concrete to support them and longer posts to accommodate both the additional post stability and allow the top rail to be closer to the top of the palings so they don't start bending like bananas. Naturally to build this way takes more time and costs more for both that and the additional materials required so often we find people go for the so called cheaper quote and end up with the very same problems you are facing thus saving nothing and in fact costing more! Unfortunately at present our team members are booked out for many months and are not taking on any more work so we can't help you now but could possibly in three or so months. Hope this helps and please note we don't get involved with council approvals only quotes that you can submit to them, Regards Warren PS Would also recommend you get colorbond as the quality is MUCH better and is more readily available as there are huge timber shortages right now.
Hi We are building a new home and are looking for colour bond fencing around our property along with 2 side gates. Our property is 546 sq meter corner block with a perimeter of approximately 80 meters. We are planning to move into the property by mid of Feb 2022 and wants to get the fencing done by the end of Jan 2022. We have spoken to the neighbours and have taken their consent.

I am currently using a VIP guy who is doing work for me in East Fremantle. I submitted a job on hipages for a wooden gate with lock to be made, painted and installed at my home. We discussed the shape of the gate when he quoted. He showed me pictures on his phone of what he could do. I said if the top of the gate was to be curved, just a gentle curve. He has now made a gate with a high pitched curve which looks ridiculous. He said, no worries, we can make it lower! I wanted a high gate and that's why I paid for a lock. He is coming back to finish this week and I don't know how to deal with him. Frankly, I think he should remake the gate because it is wrong. Can I have some advice please?
