Hi!

I purchased the Flare (M) for my 2 kids under 7yrs old. With such high star and great reviews, we couldn't ook past the vuly range. My kids being little and the only ones using the trampoline and not doing any crazy acrobatics etc, we went with the Flare.

I purchased early November 2024 (proof of purchase) to beat the Christmas rush and was erected on Christmas eve of 2024. Initial thoughts were, this is great! The kids will love it. Until Christmas day, when they started playing on it. My daughter is 7 my son, nearly 5 who is very limited on the trampoline due to age restriction.

The excitement on Christmas day, how could I not let them both jump around together?

What I noticed was the amount the net poles were moving. Moving to the point where a couple of the poles dislodged (I made sure that they were all the way in upon installing the trampoline)

The kids have thoroughly and very much are enjoying the trampoline and I couldn't see a better smile on their faces while playing on it. However, I am concerned about the sturdiness of the trampoline. Even with a combined weight of the two kids only being under 45kgs and the trampoline is rated at 100kg, they're well under that threshold.

I suppose my question is, what were the chances of returning the Flare and upgrading to a more sturdier model? I would of course pay the difference I models, if at all possible. I'm not disregarding or putting down the quality of Vuly, moreso myself being in building and construction, I can't help but keep thinking, I need something more sturdy for my piece of mind. In this case with my trust in Vuly, opting to possibly get an upgraded model.

Please advise.

Thanks

hi everyone, I have a Vuly Flare (M) that has lasted really well (bought in 2019) but the safety net near the entry ripped off from the entry seam. It needs replacement but I cannot find a replacement safety net, does anyone know if these are available somewhere? I can only see replacement mat, spring padding and the hardware metal parts, but no safety net!

I need help please :)

Hi there, I have just assembled my flare large trampoline but the safety net seems to be a little loose. The poles are staying in so the issue doesn't seem to be the same as other are having but I had expected the net to be taut at the top and there's a fair bit of slack. We have tried to pull the poles down/back further but they won't go any more. Any tips would be appreciated

I am having the same issue as everyone else with the “flare “ Net poles, they will not stay in.

They won’t be in the whole way. I put a foot on T-joint grabbed top pole (separating the padding for better grip) lift body and pull back with a few good shakes. Obviously being careful how much weight you apply. A few of mine were doing the same until I figured they weren’t all the way in. If you can see any of the indent (curve , c shape) at back of pole it’s not in far enough. Hope this helps, mine have been stiff as a board ever since, no leeway, no movement at all.

There is a trick to inserting the poles fully. Suggest you ask Vuly to send you the video that specifically relates to this. Still not as easy as suggested though and certainly not the easy one person job that the full installation video would make you think. I had my 25 year old son help me. The problem is that the tension of the net tends to make the poles swivel. Fair bit of effort and time required. Fine once you succeed in doing it.

I have the Large Flare and we cant assemble the trampoline as the curved poles wont stay in the t-joiner and just keep falling out every time we try and assemble the ring we have tried bashing them in but this doesnt help and risks affecting the hole for the outside netting poles. is there a regular issue? i have no idea how to fix this without actually drilling in screws to keep it together

Chris

Grab a stoll so you can get some leverage. About half way up the poll grab and pull back towards you and it should eventually fall into its lowest slot

Thank you for your answer Chris :) Unfortunately i dont really understand.... The curved poles dont seem to have a 'slot' to go in to the t-joiner and they just sit in there. But there is nothing to keep them in there. As soon as we get half of the ring standing up and start the other side it just all falls apart because they are just sitting in the joiner so loosely. we tried hitting them in with a mallet but that didnt help at all. I may not of explained the question correctly. Im referring to the poles that the springs will go in to

This also seems like a safety concern as i dont see how it would stay together when our kids are jumping

We have the medium flare for our 3 year old, she absolutely loves it. We are having trouble with the net posts. After a couple of days some of the net support posts wriggle their way out of position and the net relaxes a little. Doesn’t seem to matter how much downward force we use to put them back into position they end up popping back out after a couple of days. Is there anyway of making sure they don’t come out of position? Thanks, Ashlee

Hello Ashlee, Thank you for contacting us. Please ensure that the net poles are fully inserted into the T-Joiners by pulling them down towards you. There should be no groove visible on your net pole.

This will amend the angle that your net poles are at and ensure your shade cover and net is taut.

Could you please send an email to reviews@vulyplay.com and I will send you a video showing how to do this.

Should you have any other questions or require further assistance, please contact our customer service team on 1300 667 514.

Same issue here. Posts are fully inserted and net is tight. 10 minutes of jumping and they are loose again. It has not been a great start after the orange pad came damaged as well.

Just put my kids medium flare together, I thought I had the poles in place as they did go down but shade cloth wasn’t taut, I put a foot next to T joint, grabbed the top pole with both hands, took other foot off the ground and pulled back with all my weight and the pole went down what felt like an inch, went round and did to all and you can certainly feel the difference in the stiffness of the poles and the shade is taut now. Hopefully helps someone else as I thought I had the poles in but obviously not. I also lifted padding at bottom above my toes and padding on the top pole for better grip. When in properly there is zero give / wiggle in the poles if you grab and shake.

Does the flare trampoline come with a ladder or is this an add on? I’ve noticed that vuly have got a sale on at the moment with free tent, free hoop and free delivery but in the fine print it says excludes flare trampolines? Also says each flare trampoline comes with a shade.. but I’m very sceptical... can anyone advise please if they’ve bought a flare trampoline what exactly is included and if you’re happy with the product as the price from the flare to the next one Is quite a massive jump in price... thanks in advance.

Dannii

In my experience with the Large Flare the ladder is an extra and not included.

Vuly Play

Hi Mish, Thank you for contacting us. The ladder does not come with the trampoline, it is an optional accessory and can be purchased for $75. external link  There is a great deal on the Flare at the moment and it includes a free shade cover, free delivery (half price for TAS & NT) and $200 off the trampoline.
