Contact Westinghouse, or rep, they offered to help, but I had already bought an other machine, as the waiting time for repair was 3 weeks,which was unacceptable to me. Cheers

Difficulty with touch screen. Will not start on frequent occasions. Have attempted reset ( open 6 times with 12 sec) also cleaned touchscreen. Even switched off at power point 1-5 minutes. Very frustrating. Thinking of walking away from Westinghouse appliances.
The same thing happened to me, the touchscreen did not work and had to be fully replaced which would’ve cost me $400. So I bought a new machine.
Machine frequently will not start. Have done the trouble shooting suggestions but problem still persists. Often need to turn dial to off and back to program numerous times to get it to start. It is a pity because it washes well
Hi Mary Anne, I occasonally experience this also; because it is a "touch" start button this can happen as we all have different strength of touch. My 18yr old g'son visited last week and he didn't have any trouble with the button at all. I absolutely love this machine; am in my 70's so as you can imagine I've had many different types of w'machines over the years and this is without a doubt the pick of the bunch. Good luck.
Oh, Mary Anne, my daughter has a Bosch and when staying with her I occasionally have the same problem with the touch start.
A very frustrating machine. The touch screen is unresponsive most of the time. Numerous presses to get it to start -10 minutes wasted many times. Can I get a refund as this seems to be a common fault with this machine?

the control pannel is faulty, button not responsive, very bad quality, never buy this brand.
