Birds Eye
I thought this was a sea fish, it tasted of mould, and mud, disgusting. Nothing on the label to say it was dirty old catfish

would not recommend for anyone with food allergies. Added oils and spices are super processed. Not whole food. Not recommended.
VERY DISAPPOINTING Sold as New Zealand Whiting. The packet cost $11.00. 250g of product and only 56%, thats 140g, of crappy tasteless fish from… Read more
Thailand. Coated in horrible tasteless batter which we took off, leaving tiny pathetic slivers of soggy fish. This is an absolute rip off. For $78.57 a kilo you can buy real fish products, rather than this overprices junk food. Shame on you Birds Eye, I will never buy your products again.
A family favourite in my household – I've been buying these for years now and find they taste very well. Not sure where the so-called powdery taste or texture comes from with other… Read more
reviewers. This packet of frozen roast veg is convenient and cost effective for us, rather than having to buy a bag of spuds, carrots and onions, (or buying individually, which is ridiculously more expensive in supermarkets) then try to get the smallest piece of pumpkin. Especially when a small piece of pumpkin is hard to get, and I really don't like to buy food that will just end up going to waste, because we can't eat it all bulk. As for the size of the pieces and cooking them, I toss the entire packet in a bowl and coat them with a bit of oil first. Make sure they are spread out well on a baking tray, not all on top of each other and squashed together. Then if you cook them at 210-220 degrees celsius for 20 minutes, take them out, turn them and put them back in for 15 minutes, they always come out perfectly cooked and great for my household. Perhaps the onion is a bit burnt, but I don't mind some crispy burnt onions. I find the ratio of potatoes to pumpkin to carrot to onion can vary from packet to packet, which is rather strange, though. I'm sure Burd's Eye are importing some of their veg, as it's not always available year round in Australia. So the mismatched amount from packet to packet can be annoying. The number of pumpkin, carrot and onion is usually fine for us. But if there's not enough spuds, I'll just add a few from the packets of frozen roast potatoes that are also on the market. That way we all get enough spuds as we're all lovers of roast potatoes. My elderly mother has become a very fussy eater these days, almost like a young child or toddler, and she just loves them, minus the onion.
Quality of Birds Eye products have gone down remarkably. These have lot of carrots and little broccoli and cauliflower. I Birds Eye roasted vegetables, lot of potatoes small amounts of other vegetables.
Great product, always tasty, but the new Seal Strip packaging is truly awful, impossible to open and then reseal! The old packaging was better and I’m not sure why they changed what was proven packaging!
Extremely disappointed with Birds eye frozen beans being that the packets fillers are also including cut off pieces of stalky woody stems, and, heaps… Read more
of blackened portion ends of the beans that are also being packed into the pack and not being cut out or separated from the bean. Extremely deceitful by Birds Eye, and i will never buy Birds Eye items again!
Bought a bag of peas, corn and capsicum and there were literally 15 tiny micro-pieces of capsicum. How can they think this is acceptable?! You're paying $8 kg for peas and corn. Won't be buying again.
Absolutely awful. Birds eye used to have the best cod fish fingers. So craving them, I bought the Birds Eye Hoki Fish Fingers. Just disgusting,… Read more
overly processed, half the size of the cod fish fingers and tasted nothing like fish. Straight in the bin, never to be purchased again. Beyond disappointed that Birds Eye now produce this garbage. The photo on the packaging is not a photo of the small thin fish fingers that were inside the box. Purchased online 7 January 2026.
