Work done properly and perfectly. They manage to do the job fast yet secure. The last contractor did it so messy so we need to find someone to do the job!

Just ok – You will need double what's on label for sufficient coverage , will absolutely leave tyre marks if you drive on it. Easy enough to apply but over… Read more

priced for what it is has a uv resistance of about 6 months tops before it fades . Probably best pic from a bad bunch tbh ... if ya selling up looks fresh but don't expect longevity

Hey, good news, I'm back again and I've just finished my latest little project with this great product. I think that each time I buy this varnish the… Read more

formula gets a little better. This time it seemed very forgiving, considering the many angles and panels involved, allowing adequate time to feather in each area before tacking. Three + day job but half of that was stripping, sanding and masking, four coats including prep coat, six hour recoat time. Used one full litre tin. Follow the instructions and apply thin coats if you want a good result. Unfortunately this time I didn't take any before photos which would show how much the depth and colour of the wood has changed with this varnish. It seems to penetrate the wood and fire up all the colour and grain. For me still the best value, best performing varnish that I have used. Good luck all and greetings from tropical Cairns.

Awesome lacquer, non yellowing, glass like appearance, – Monocell WATERBASED clear timber varnish is easy to use when the instructions are followed, expect to do 3-5 coats to get a glass like finish sanding… Read more

with 240grit between coats. I don't sand before applying the last coat. Waterbased lacquer is easier for non-pro painters to apply, more forgiving and is white in the tin drying clear. I use to use Intergrain Ultraclear interior before they discontinued the product, this is the only product in Bunnings I could find that will replace Ultraclear. As a side note, please take the time to understand the difference between waterbased Lacquer and Oil based Lacquer.

What a waste of time and money – I purchased 8 litres of granite grey from masters and was told to just apply two coats by paint specialist in store. I was pleased with the… Read more

result....until I drove my Honda HRV on to it and was shocked to see the surface had lifted leaving tyre prints. [Name Removed] insisted that it was because I had not diluted the first coat with turps to encourage adhesion. Granted, I didn't read the fine print but relied on Masters paint service.

He said I need to remove the paint and start again!!!! I am not able to buy the product locally and might need to drive a long distance, if I find a supplier. This product needs to be removed from sale.

Did not work at all! – I recently had a new granite bench top installed. The granite is grey and white in colour. I had to seal it myself as it was not done before… Read more

installation. I went to Bunnings and purchased Bondall tileguard granite and marble sealer. It came in a big tin. I followed the instructions to a tee. I applied the sealer 3 times leaving the required amount of time (15-20 min) between each of application. If anything I applied additional coats as I have lighter granite. It's a water based sealer that suggests you apply via a paint brush brush. I let the benchtop dry for 24hrs+ before using my kitchen or sinks. I then performed the water test, the water did bead ontop but also you could see immediately a dark water stain soaking in within a minute. So I did 3 more coats as per instructions but with a rag this time until the tin was empty. I followed the same steps, waited gave it a day or so the water test - water still soaked through immediately! After now 5 coats!!!

Not many people (including the stone sellers) know the difference with sealers or can advise you if you are doing right thing. We were told by everyone we were paranoid and to leave it. I could tell something was wrong. Luckily I stuck to my guns and I bought the more expensive sealer from the stone warehouse. This is a proper sealer for natural stone and it is a thinner not water based. Straight away I could see the difference. I did 4 more coats with this until the stone wouldnt take on anymore. I gave it a good few days to absorb. My stone is now staying warerproof for over 30mins (maybe more I havent left it any longer).

Use the right stuff. The stone factory's will have the proper stuff. Don't go cheap! It isnt all the same like we were initially told. Do the water test and no you shouldnt see patches. Water should bead for up to 30mins. People will tell you water is not meant to be completely beading, that it isn't waterproof and that some water will soak - well it shouldnt! My now doesn't and I have light granite. Use the right stuff an coat it 3+ times with a rag and it will not water stain at all within 20-30mins. If it does it is the sealer, get a better product. Yes you can seal it numerous times there's no harm, after a while it just won't take meaning it's good to go.

Did NOT do as claimed – The W.A. based company claim this thin water-based sealer, available from Bunnings, @ $19.95 for 2 litres, is 'ideal for sealing plant pots etc etc' … Read more

I followed the directions to the letter and found this product does NOT do as they claim and less than 12 months later I looked for an alternative sealer that actually works.

A Bondall Technical Adviser asked a lot of questions, and passed my request for a full refund 'on to her superior' – which was met with a wall of silence.

So I strongly advise other would-be purchasers to spend your money wisely – and elsewhere

Terrible – This product was expensive and ineffective. I assumed spending $14 on a shower cleaner would guarantee an effective product that would be safe to use… Read more

on my grout sealer (also Bondall). The instructions say to leave for 24 hours, having done that twice, it removed hardly any mold, and took up a heck of a lot of elbow work. I also thought this would be more natural than bleach but i think i'll get myself a bottle of oil of cloves instead. The nozzle also driped half of the product down the bottle and over my hands. Never again!

get rid of them. I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL. Even if they were free I would not waste my time with this product.

Note that I've had the product replaced sever times and never had it work for more than a couple of seconds.
