missed a beat. My wife wanted a slow cooker but i wanted a pressure cooked so this was the compromise. We now rarely use the slow cooker as you can get the same result in a much shorter time with pressure cooking. My wife is converted and it is hard to imagine not owning this. So much so we have looked at purchasing a another one as a back up if this one does stop working. The seal does stretch over time, so we have purchased a spare for this, but that is after at least 2 years of regular use. The seal is still working, just a slightly looser fit than when we purchased it. We have cooked roasts, stews, risottos, rice, soups and many other meals in this pressure cooker. All with great success. I would highly recommend this product to others, and i hope they have as much success with it as we have.

AVOID CROCK-POT AND NEWELL BRANDS – Crock-Pot is part of the multinational corporation Newell Brands. Under their "Corporate Citizenship" they state: "At Newell Brands, we are… Read more
committed to being a responsible corporate citizen. From ensuring we offer rewarding career opportunities and comprehensive benefits to our employees and holding ourselves accountable to the highest safety standards for our products and people to MINIMIZING OUR IMPACT ON THE ENVIRONMENT, partnering with our suppliers on responsible sourcing and giving back to the communities in which we operate, we believe we can make a meaningful difference in our communities locally and globally." Perhaps they would like to explain why they don't even bother to provide a list of authorised small appliance repairers to fix their global design fault known as the "E5 Error" that occurs on their Crock-Pots, and for which their suggested trouble shooting protocol does not work. It *should* be an inexpensive wire or sensor repair, but no - Crock-Pot, via Newell Brands, does NOT support the product once out of warranty, will not provider any repairer contact details, and in fact, tells you to "throw it away". Into landfill. An otherwise perfectly good machine, loads of steel, other metals, electricals etc - all to be thrown into landfill, and to harm the environment! And all for a design fault of their own creation, and a wire. DO NOT SUPPORT ANY CORPORATION THAT IS ALL FAUX CARE, AND NO RESPONSIBILITY. Buy a different, and actually environmentally responsible brand.
Great ceramic bowl but the heater element/base is a bit cheap and lightweight – The slow cooker is fantastic but I have to worry whether the unit will last the test of time. The base unit is pretty poorly made and doesn't feel… Read more
high quality. The bowls/trays are great and very heavy. I can't tell when I will use the split offering bowl.
Would not recommend – I purchased this slow cooker in July 2022. Only had it one month (used once) and the digital display failed. I took it back to the place of purchase… Read more
and they replaced it. I have used it approximately 10 times and now it appears the heating element has failed. I contacted their warranty department but was informed that as I was out of warranty by 2.5 months (1.5 months from exchange unit) they would not be prepared to replace it. Very disappointed in the fact that they obviously don’t support their own product and it would appear they don’t expect it to last past 12 months.
I went into mediation with Sunbeam. They advised that my feedback has been shared with their team !!
Today, on recommendation, I purchased a Russell Hobb Slow Cooker for half the price and it came with a 2 year warranty. Obviously, this product is expected to last more than one year.

New favourite kitchen gadget! – Absolutely love our new oval multi cooker, such a great size for a family of 5 and makes cooking dinner so much easier! We’ve made ribs, mac n cheese, slow cooked lasagne and even boiled eggs in our multi cooker and can’t wait to make more!
great product works really well for soups, casseroles, curry’s, chilli con carne, bolognese and slow cooked meats. outstanding warranty and service from crockpot australia.
No spare parts – No spare parts - if the hinge pin breaks and it will, you can’t purchase a new hinge for the Lid. It is dangerous to use as you can steam burn your hand. I called the company and was advised that they do not carry any parts.

months past the 1yr warranty, and Crockpot show no interest in this at all. No offer of store credit towards another product, no refund or offer to repair or replace. Had I known it was unreliable and only going to barely scrape past a year I would have bought something else. The lights started flashing, no reset button pressing helped, no offer of support or advice from Crockpot. Sorry, but I don't want to buy something simply to throw it out after less than 18 months.

Good multicooker – Just over 4 months old, used 7 times and now has surface rust. It still works fine and I still use it just not happy about the surface rust.
Impressive and heavy – I had been looking for a dutch oven for a while now, I felt it might be the missing link in my bread making journey, so after mixed success I decided… Read more
to buy one. I was looking at 5 quart pots but thought they might be a bit small for me so a 6 quart was my sweet spot.I ended up going for the Tefal 6 quart but then I realised I would have to wait 3 weeks to get it in. Being impatient , as I am , I searched for another solution , then after much research I settled on the Crock Pot brand by Sunbeam . The only problem was I had to go with a 7 quart which is about 6.6 litres. This was right on my price point.I didn't want to go ultra cheap and I didn't want to pay a premium because it was made in France and after all, is the brand name going to make much difference in cooking performance. The pot arrived nicely packaged and with no damage a nice bright red. It is made of cast iron and enamel. The edge of the pot where the lid meets the edge of the pot is bare iron which makes sense as there will be friction and continued lifting and dropping could lead to an enamel edge breaking. The handles are nice and wide and you can get a good grip on them .The lid carries dimples which helps spread the condensation evenly when it drops back into whatever you are cooking.I have seen this design on pressure cookers . My first use of the pot was making a sour dough bread. Unfortunately mine was too hydrated , so was hard to form, none the less I used some cooking paper and lifted it into the pot. I placed it in the oven set at 230C The pot itself heated up very quickly and after 25 minutes I lifted the lid to see that my bread had risen .I left the lid off for another 15 minutes and then removed the bread which actually turned out a lot better than many of my previous attempts before I had bought this pot. All in all I can see many uses for this pot from slow cooking to braising . It is heavy and feels like quality coming with a limited Life time warranty ,which basically means if it is faulty or breaks in normal use without the operator causing the problem you will be able to make a warranty claim.
