It has old technology microswitch assembly that causes “serious friction and obstruction” in the paper shoot that requires quite often on single sheets to use both hands either side of paper and push down, a very very bad design, One cannot just reach over and drop in a sheet! and move on with work. On other brands i have owned with optical sensor there is no friction on insertion its just like posting a letter. First day after delivery 24 April 2025 I emailed the online supplier in Queensland I complained but days later they have not replied Summary- Expensive item,, total waste of money, and would never recommend this Brand and model or the Qld online supplier.

is compact but at the same time it holds a huge amount of shredded paper so there is less time wasted on rotating bags etc.
The machine for the job – The infostop IS44GX has proved to be ideal for our office and the follow up service from the supplier has been something you don't normally see or expect. Would have no hesitation in dealing with them again.

security and takes bulk pages with no jamming. It does need to be oiled weekly and the bags are a bit more expensive but the quality of the product is outstanding. Delivery was prompt and machine was easy to set up. Great initial service during the ordering process. Extremely happy!

least. Now having recieved the machine and put it through its paces for a couple of weeks I am impressed. It is extreamely Quiet and does a great job of shredding. There is not a hope in hell of any confidential information being salvaged from the shredding bin after this machine has finished with it. The wast bin is large enough to hold quite a large amount of shredded paper and is easily removed for emptying. Just to add to the overall experience the machine looks smart and is easily moved around due to the castors.I could not be happier with our purchase and would recommend this machine to anyone looking for a quality machine with excelentservice back up. If you are like me you are price sensitive as well but rather than spend $300 on a cheaper machine that won't last and you can't buy spares for bite the bullet and purchase quality, afterall shredders go through hell and have to be able to survive.I should also add that although the supplier was in QLD and we are in WA the service and delivery was great and reasonable in price.
