Not reliable for outdoor activities – Died all of sudden..doesnt turn on. On taking to apple store was advised its out of warranty and i was better of buying a new one rather than getting it repaired.

that stood out was how secure they felt thanks to the ear hook design. Whether I was running, lifting weights, or simply walking around the city, they stayed firmly in place without needing constant adjustment.
The sound quality was energetic and bass-heavy, which made workout playlists feel much more exciting. Songs had strong punch and clarity, especially for hip-hop, electronic music, and rock. At the same time, podcasts and phone calls sounded clear enough for everyday use. The earbuds also paired seamlessly with Apple devices, and the connection remained stable most of the time without random dropouts.
Battery life was another major advantage. I rarely worried about charging them because they easily lasted through long gym sessions and several days of casual listening. The charging case was larger than most modern earbud cases, but it provided enough extra power to make up for the bulkiness.
Comfort was mostly excellent, although after very long listening sessions the ear hooks could create slight pressure around the ears. The physical buttons on each earbud were surprisingly practical compared to touch controls, especially during workouts when sweaty fingers can make touch gestures unreliable.
One downside was the lack of active noise cancellation, which became more noticeable in crowded places or during travel. The case also felt less pocket-friendly compared to slimmer competitors. Still, the overall reliability, powerful sound, and secure fit made them one of the best wireless earbuds I have used for fitness and active everyday use.

for working out. I was wrong. Two weeks after the Apple warranty, they just stopped working. Took them into an Apple authorised service repairer for fixing under Consumer Warranty only to be told they were purchased in France (no, never been but would like to one day). Apparently if you buy Apple products on Kogan, they aren't always covered under Australian regulations. Apple want to charge more to repair the Beats than what they cost. Waste of money. Both Beats and Apple have lost me.

they became my go to earbuds for commuting, working, and even relaxing at home.
The first thing I noticed when opening the case was how compact and simple the design is. The earbuds feel lightweight and comfortable in the ear, which makes a big difference when wearing them for long periods. Unlike some earbuds that feel bulky or press too hard, these sit naturally and stay secure even while walking around. The case itself is also small enough to easily fit in a pocket, which makes carrying them around very convenient.
Sound quality is where the earbuds really shine. The audio feels balanced, with clear vocals and strong bass that doesn’t overpower the rest of the music. Whether listening to podcasts, pop music, or instrumental tracks, everything sounds crisp and detailed. The bass has a nice punch to it, which makes songs feel more energetic without becoming muddy.
One feature that stood out during daily use is the active noise cancelling. It does a good job of reducing background noise, especially in busy environments like cafés or public transportation. While it doesn’t completely silence the outside world, it definitely makes listening more immersive. When I wanted to stay aware of my surroundings, switching to transparency mode was also very useful.
Battery life has been reliable for normal daily use. I rarely felt worried about running out of power during the day, and the charging case makes it easy to quickly top them up when needed. The connection with my phone has also been stable, pairing quickly and maintaining a solid connection without random dropouts.
Another thing I appreciated is how simple the controls are. Adjusting volume, pausing music, or switching modes can be done easily without constantly reaching for the phone.
Overall, using the Beats Studio Buds has been a smooth and enjoyable experience. They combine good sound quality, comfort, and practical features in a compact design. For everyday listening, they feel reliable and convenient, making them a great companion for music, podcasts, and calls throughout the day.

Very disappointing- not worth the money – These headphones are not worth the $300 price tag. - When I received these they showed up on my phone. One of the first things that I noticed was… Read more
that it listed the date of purchase as two months earlier. - The sound is a little odd particularly when using noise cancellation. - At first they worked well and the pros outweighed the cons. Then I started to have problems with them not connecting automatically when I put them on and I had to go in on my iPhone and select headphones. Similarly they would not disconnect when put back in the case. So I would answer my phone and hear nothing because the Beats had connected even though they were not in use. - Two years after purchase one of the headphones broke. Apple acknowledged that it was a known fault but declined to cover it. In fact they basically said that these are considered accessories and as much have very little warranty. - These are sold as sporting headphones for use when exercising - they were only ever used in an office environment and definitely not enough to justify physically breaking. - The moral of the story - my husbands $100 headphones are now 3 years old and going strong. I will avoid Beats in future.
Beats Flex
So NOT "flex" wire – The wire between buds is AWFUL. Thick, inflexible, and with every movement gey creata an amplified "scratching" sound into the earbuds. The kink from… Read more
being in the box couldn't be straightened, so a permanent cross over loop at the front that interferes with clothes and is totally in the way whilst laying down. Trying to sleep with them, which is why I bought them, is a total nightmare! Every movement of the thick wire makes a horrid noise in your ears. I had Sennheiser before and they and ZERO wire sound issues, and the wire was short, flexible and easy to sleep with. I'm going back to Sennheiser. Beats Flex are shocking. I never write reviews but there headphones are incredibly frustrating. I'd give them 1 star except the sound quality is OK if you can remain perfectly still so the wired isn't move at all and be comfortable with a hard cord crossed over under your chinl!

spending some time with these headphones, they felt like a solid mix of modern features, strong audio performance, and everyday convenience.
The first thing that stands out is the design. The headphones look sleek and minimal, with a premium feel that fits well whether you’re using them at home, traveling, or working in a café. They fold easily and come with a compact carrying case, which makes them practical to carry in a backpack. When I first put them on, the build felt sturdy and well made, giving the impression of a high quality product.
Sound quality is definitely the highlight. The audio feels energetic and immersive, with a strong bass presence that gives music a lot of impact. Songs with deep bass sound especially exciting, but the headphones still manage to keep vocals and instruments relatively clear. New 40 mm drivers help reduce distortion even at higher volumes, so music stays clean even when played loudly.
What I also liked was how versatile they felt across different types of content. Music sounded lively, podcasts were clear, and movies felt more immersive thanks to spatial audio support. The headphones also support lossless audio when connected with USB-C, which can provide higher quality playback when listening to compatible sources.
The active noise cancellation works well in everyday situations. It reduces background sounds like traffic or office chatter, helping you focus on your music or work. While it may not be the absolute strongest noise canceling compared to some competitors, it still blocks out most distractions and makes listening more enjoyable.
Battery life has also been impressive. With noise cancellation turned off, the headphones can last around 40 hours on a single charge, and even with ANC enabled they can run roughly a full day before needing to recharge. That means you can easily get through long trips or multiple days of normal use without worrying about power.
Of course, no device is perfect. Some people may find the clamping pressure a little tight during long listening sessions, and the microphone quality during calls isn’t the strongest part of the device. In quiet environments it works fine, but in noisy places voices can sound slightly muted.
Overall, using the Beats Studio Pro feels like a premium listening experience focused on strong bass, long battery life, and modern features. They are stylish, powerful sounding, and convenient for everyday use. For music lovers who enjoy energetic sound and a comfortable wireless setup, they make a very satisfying pair of headphones.

perfect. The new design of Pro 2 released in 2025 does not work for me. The worst part is that the part behind my ear presses in and the back of my ear gets sore after about 30 mins. I never had this with the old model. They just don't slip in easily and stay like the original design, I'm having to fiddle from time to time. I regret the big bucks and now I don't have comfortable ear buds anymore.
