several items and it took 3 business days before receiving dispatch tracking. Then 3 business days later tracking still shows no movement at all via Couriers Please. Seems order is not even in the hands of the courier. Make several enquiries via email and given new tracking info via Australia Post 3 business days later. Next day Aust Post tracking still says PENDING so order has not been dispatched again. Email again and promised it will be sent express that day (which is 14 days since placing the order). Then get an email later that day informing me they cannot locate the main item (Killgerm AF Demi Diamond Tineola Glue Pads for moths). Meanwhile the moth problem I have has gotten much worse. The sales staff, [Name Removed] & [Name Removed] that I interacted with was courteous and professional and I believe the issue was caused by an incompetent warehouse. I requested full refund via PayPal which was issued within the hour.

It's a little noisy, but not louder than the dog sized mozzies we used to get who would steal your car if you left it unlocked. I purchased a bottle of "Croaked" on 2nd February 2026. I used this product a week or so later for the first time, and unfortunately it didn’t work.… Read more

I sprayed it onto the cane toad and the cane toad just hopped away a small distance. After around 90 seconds I sprayed the toad a second and third time without any result. After around eight to ten minutes, the cane toad was still very mobile and hopped into a drain and disappeared. The online descriptor states that it will “sedate toads in under a minute and euthanize them in less than 8 minutes with just one spray—works on any size toad. The product that I received did not do this at all. I contacted Pestrol, explained the above and requested a refund which didn't eventuate. I sent my invoice as proof of purchase and received an email that indicated that they were checking with their supplier. I haven't heard from them since which is around 1 month. This product "Croaked" is nearly double the price of Pestrol's alternate product "HopStop" which I have since purchased but can't use due to my lung condition. The HopStop works well but the fumes of this product are extremely strong. It is now April and I have now received correspondence from Pestrol. They have investigated the product with their manufacturer/supplier and have issued me with a replacement bottle of croaked. Unfortunately the Cane Toads have hibernated for the winter so I won't be able to test the new bottle until they return, so stay tuned.

constantly attract large numbers of rats into the shed next to his property where my car is parked. So far they have built nests in the engine compartment three times. On the recommendation of a friend, I bought a Pestrol 360 Rodent Repeller in the hope of keeping the rats out of the shed. It's a big shed and it didn't seem to be very effective when placed about a metre above the floor. Carl at Pestrol recommended that I place it at floor level under the front of the car, and since doing that, no more rats have invaded the engine compartment. This gadget would probably be more useful covering a smaller area in a house etc. My friend says that her Pestrol 360 works well indoors.

car. I assumed that it was well designed, and that it would do the job. I set it up and at the same time set up a "trail" camera with infrared illumination to see what was going on. After maybe a week, the big rat I was hoping to catch finally went inside the trap. Rats are extremely cautious animals. The moment it stepped on the trap door it's supposed to fall down through, it jumped back and freaked out and eventually got back out through the entrance. It's in the attached video. I did a web search for *any* photos or videos which show these traps with captured rodents in them. I could not find any, and the reason seems to be obvious.

down the Pestrol Predator was the most effective of the 3 traps I had set up within a 100m2 area. Within 48 hrs the trap was brimming with flies (I'm not sure how other reviewers could see flies escaping once they entered?) and I then had to contend with the issue that it became an ant trap with all the bull ants climbing up the tree and climbing down into the Predator to feast on the solid mass of flies in it. I'm waiting for the Predator to be restocked and will buy several more to use. While the bait liquid stinks when mixed and when subsequently swirled, if you can keep it far enough from your house or other area it is an effective trap for the flies in our area.

Pestrol Lithium Electric Sprayer 5L — Dud – The Pestrol Lithium Electric Sprayer (5L) I purchased from Pestrol Australia for $89.90 on 17 March 2024 is, without doubt, the worst product I have… Read more

ever purchased.

As requested, I sent Pestrol a product review straight after I water-tested the sprayer. My review focused on Pestrol’s marketing image not satisfactorily showing the highly opaque nature of the 5L container and also the spray nozzle mechanism shifting the spray pattern from fine mist to jet stream at the slightest adjustment. The photo attached to this review shows the sprayer with 3.5L of liquid in the container, not that you could tell without removing the major filler handle. My review was not published on the Pestrol website.

Yet worse was to come. Before actually using the sprayer for the first time with herbicide, I discovered the plastic side filler cap had cracked while just sitting in the garden shed. With the cap heavily taped, I managed to pressurise the container. Whilst using the sprayer, the plastic sheath that secures the lance to the end of the trigger mechanism cracked and the imbedded plastic joiner connecting the other end of the trigger mechanism to the tube also snapped, rendering the sprayer useless. The broken components are shown in the attached photo, as is the meagre lance extended to its full 40cm length.

My message is — be wary of purchasing this particular Electric Sprayer and maybe other Pestrol branded spray products.

No Longer Disappointed - see updates – I have had great success with every Pestrol product I have purchased, even writing positive reviews on this site but I am quite disappointed with… Read more

this purchase, especially as I paid more than market price for the Pestrol name. Wow it’s got to be good, it is a Pestrol. We do not have a mosquito problem so I have not used the supplied booster as I don’t want to attract mosquitos from far afield, I just want to zap bugs that happen to fly by on their way to our ankles while sitting in our alfresco. In the two months since owning this trap I can see two mosquito carcasses on the light and a couple of dots which are probably midges or gnats and absolutely nothing in the bottom collection chamber, and our ankles are still being bitten. So Mr Pestrol, have I bought the wrong product for my needs. I want to zap all bugs including flys and mosquitos, or any other nasty that wants to invade my alfresco. I don’t want to attract bugs from next door or down the road with some sweet smelling mosquito seducing stuff, I just want a bug zapper that works. What do you suggest Mr Pestrol and what are my options re buy back or trade-in of this rechargeable trap that does not work for me.

Pestrol mosquito killing cans with dispenser – Some time ago, I purchased the "Summer Pack" of Pestrol insect spray with dispenser. We used a few cans without issue but then one of the replacement… Read more

cans proved to be faulty in such an unexpected way. Our bedroom suite is made from dark stained hardwood as can be seen in the pictures. I chose the top of the mirror for placement of the dispenser as it was close to the recommended height above the floor, and sufficiently away from the bed so as not to be breathing in the spray while asleep. I am the original mosquito magnet, they find me anywhere I go and it's a love / hate relationship. They love me and I hate them. Due to the fairly low ambient light in the room, even by day, I did not notice that the spray was actually collecting at the spraying point and running down the front of the can. The dark furniture disguised the fact that small droplets were also landing on the dressing table surface below. I discovered this while checking to see the level of spray left in the can. The insecticide had run down the front of the can and onto the top of the mirror frame. I contacted Pestrol and they requested some photos of the situation. They immediately picked up that the can currently in the dispenser was missing a small yellow nozzle which is designed to ensure that the product leaves the can in a fine mist or spray. It's absence is what caused the droplets to form. Pestrol immediately offered compensation by way of some complimentary products. During this process, they were always respectful and kept the communication going with updates. I can give their customer service department FIVE stars, but due to this unfortunate event I can only give the product 4 stars. Photos show the can on the left with the yellow nozzle inserted, and the can on the right missing this part. There is a significant amount of damage to the top of the mirror frame, which fortunately cannot be seen from the ground unless you were 2 meters tall. There is much less damage to the table top and it doesn't really necessitate fixing. So again, hats off to the service department for very responsive and respectful service, and finding an amenable resolution.

I was invited to leave a review on their website which I merely provided the facts in, and noticed it was never published. I’ve also seen other reviewers for other Pestrol products on product review, report the same experience with unfavourable reviews. Just wanted people to be aware of the biased review system on their website. One unit was replaced for free, but also ceased working after a short period of time (basically emitting a constant irritating noise, rather than the intermittent sound/vibration that was initially running), after which I saw no point obtaining further replacements.

As for the product, it has had an appreciable effect on the pests I targeted. Those are common house flies, sand flies, march flies, and mozzies of course! The only pest where results were inconsistent, or perhaps lessened is the better reference to use.

Was a little disappointed the rim hat was out of stock when I bought, given its capacity to keep more sun of your neck and noggin. Will look at correcting that when it comes time for a replacement; if not sooner. Recommended seller and a well manufactured product.
