training and throughout the session the trainer repeatedly told me I was driving well and should have no issues passing the test. As soon as it was time for the assessment I was suddenly told I should book additional training "just to make sure" I would pass. At that point I'd already failed before I even got in the truck.
During the assessment, the assessor barely said a word and didn't write anything down. At the end, he pointed out a few minor issues and treated them as major faults. Conveniently none of these alleged mistakes could have been verified by the Department of Transport cameras in the truck. When I questioned the decision the explanation quickly changed.
I then asked for a copy of my assessment but was told they don't provide them which was a lie. I also requested a copy of my tax invoice and was told it would be emailed to me. After three follow-up's I'm still yet to receive an invoice.
I sat the test 3 days later with another party without any additional training and passed with ease.
Based on my experience, I would avoid this place and take your business elsewhere.

life-saving. When my daughter was on her P's I bought her some defensive driver training and I think this was the most powerful present I ever bought her. I did the courses with her and Murcotts did an excellent job in proving and more importantly disproving common perceptions of speeds and reactions. This type of training should be mandatory.

the customer service agent had no empathy for the situation and refused to compromise. Essentially this means $385 for absolutely nothing.
It's a shame that Driving Solutions are happy to lose a potential future customer for their own short term profit. I would not recommend doing business with a company with this ethos.
Before booking, it is perhaps worth considering who's hands you're in should something go awry on the track.

purchase process, and when I tried to troubleshoot, their support page was broken.
I sent multiple emails with no response. When I eventually called, the person I spoke to already knew the issue, suggesting they had seen my emails but chose not to reply. I was told the developers were aware of the problem but that adding support for my wheel would be expensive, and no timeframe could be provided.
At that point, I followed up via email to ask for a workaround or refund. I was told that compatibility information was available on the website, but when I pointed out that it wasn’t, and that their support page was broken, there was no apology. Instead, I was told my wheel wasn’t high enough quality and that it “would negatively impact our brand/software.”
While I appreciated the refund, the overall experience was disappointing. There was no acknowledgement of the missing compatibility information or broken support page, and the tone throughout felt dismissive.
If you're considering this program, make sure your wheel is compatible. If the support page is still broken and if the website still hasn't been updated to clearly list supported hardware, I strongly recommend contacting them directly to confirm before purchasing.
