refunded even when it is within their own refund policy. The EZlicence instructor cancelled a lesson and use of the car for the driving test in less than 45 minutes before the test leaving my son in a really difficult position trying to source another car and still get to the test on time. We then sought a refund for the cancellation from EZlicence, which has been unnecessarily painful. We provided the text message from the instructor cancelling within 45mins before the test and are still arguing with them. It looks like we now have to report them to Consumer Affairs to get the refund (it is very clear cut including their own refund policy outlines situations where the instructor cancels). We had lessons leading up to the test and the instructor was often late and really unprofessional- it was a really awful experience for my son. There are better companies to use, we will use someone local from now on.

the customer service agent had no empathy for the situation and refused to compromise. Essentially this means $385 for absolutely nothing.

It's a shame that Driving Solutions are happy to lose a potential future customer for their own short term profit. I would not recommend doing business with a company with this ethos.

Before booking, it is perhaps worth considering who's hands you're in should something go awry on the track.
