So miss this tangy, unadulterated yoghourt. Don't understand why you have discontinued it. I make my own now instead. Show details

The best milk in every way – I'm a lifelong milk drinker (having grown up on dairy farms), but since getting a bit older and having some cholesterol issues, I thought I'd give… Read more

this a go. My cholesterol levels have improved, but more importantly for purposes of this review, the milk tastes amazing. I'll drink a glass or 2 every night and on occassion couldnt get it, so I'd buy another brand and sometimes even treat myself to some full-cream milk, but none compare to the sweet, creamy, and natural taste of this milk. I understand other people here have had issues back in 2022, but I've been drinking the milk for the past 1.5 years since 2023 and it's been perfect. Anywaym I saw the negative reviews and thought some more current opinions would be helpful.

Tastes good and a good alternative if you concern about fat – The milk tastes pretty good, provides all proteins you need but with less fat. It is a good alternative if you want to enjoy the good taste of milk but don't want so much fat.  Show details

Nicely Packaged – I’m in a phase of watching my weight and this is a great product for it. That being said, it doesn’t have the same taste as normal milk – it’s… Read more

probably because it’s skimmed, but you don’t get the same satisfaction in drinking this milk. It is also more expensive than other brands which sometimes makes me question whether it is worth it. It is fresher so probably healthier, and you have to store it immediately and not let it lie around.

Best milk - but hard to find in supermarkets – With a heart problem I have used Dairy Farmers Best milk for several years now and like the taste. First the 2 litre dissapeared from Coles and… Read more

Wolli's now the 1 litre is missing.

Is the No Permeate milk supposed to be a replacement?

I have not seen any adverts or info about the new milk, it just aoppeared. I filled in surveys to the supermarket asking why the Best Milk was always off the shelfs ... but no reply!

UPDATE

Since review below I have had a reply from Dairy Farmers.

Who say...

That there was insufficient demand to continue making and supplying the Farmers Best line. It has been discontinued. They recommend using their one litre Heart Active instead.

It looks to me like the two lines overlaped too much and they have rationalised to the one. Heart Active tastes a bit more oily to me which is why I always prefered the Farmers Best. (maybe Heart active to easier or cheaper to make???) No bad fats, tastes good a bit expensive..

My son lived on it – I use to purchase a 2litre milk some time ago, now I can’t find it anywhere. I brought it because it has Omega 3 & DHA - (Docosahexaenoic acid, also… Read more

found in breast milk) in it, which is pure, filtered, highest-quality fish oil & other Omega 3 fatty acids, which is stated on the carton. We tried it but it wasn’t my other two children’s or my cup of tea but my youngest son loved it, so I kept buying it no matter the price until we couldn’t find it anymore. You can’t put a price on your children’s health, no matter the cost.

I bought this milk because there was no stock of my preferred full cream milk (which is just a home brand milk product) and was horrified at the… Read more

weird taste and the watery texture. When I add to my tea, I have to add much more than with my other milk to bring the colour and taste to how I like it (and I don't like milky tea either). I read that it's illegal to water down milk, so I am at a loss to explain why it's so thin... and then the funny taste... won't be buying this ever again.

Disappointed in Dairy Farmers Pure Cream – This cream used to be delicious when it was sold in waxed cardboard containers, but since they switched to plastic bottles it goes off really… Read more

quickly, well before expiry date and, sometimes, before it’s even been opened. Definitely not worth buying any more.
