The Echo performed well – Gave the Echo a solid workout in thick going straight up. I was impressed how the head didn’t get tangled with long grass like my old one use to. So… Read more

didn’t need to keep stopping and unwinding the grass. The Echo didn’t bog down in heavy going and was light and easy to use. Found the start easy. I went through the line chord that came with it quickly. Changed the chord to 2.7mm commercial grade and the whipper snipper ran with it no problem. I think it helped the bump function due to extra weight of the chord. Also I was happy with how easy the chord was to replace. I put 2 meters of 2.7mm in it. I’m actually glad my old whipper snipper broke at the shaft and I was able to move onto this one.

echo cs310es – I bought this little echo secondhand for my kids to use after they had been cutting with their grandfather and a Stihl ms170. Easy start works a… Read more

treat, after comparing it cutting to the ms170 a few mods were needed to wake the saw up. Removal of the cat in the exhaust and removing the excess metal under the exhaust outlet plate, a retune and it's a little ripper. Light weigh, easy start, no issues with the saw, i get the chains made up at a Stihl store, 2 years on and it now lives in my ute for limbing and cutting up windfall. 'Granddad' is a little pieved that he didnt get the easy start on his ms170, when the echo goes missing out of my ute we know it's in 'Granddads' ute.

First start following the provided instructions was difficult. I ended up starting without the choke. Once started, its performance was… Read more

outstanding. I’ve got trees with very large and plentiful leaves. The vacuum picked up large piles of leaves without clogging. I’ve had three garden vacs this is the first that actually sucks up the leaves without clogging. Very happy.

14years under it, but not sure how much longer – This is part of the good old grey echo series, plenty of power, noisy, quite vibraty and a little heavy. Right, now I’ve got the negative feedback… Read more

out I can get on with the good stuff! As i have said I’ve owned it for 14 years but however the engine bearings have been screaming for the past month and not sure how much longer it has left:( It’s worked for me commercially almost every day of its life, poor thing. I’m going to get a bg86 for my next one because I’ve heard that the new pb2455 aren’t too good. After what it has done I would recommend this to anyone!

Lightweight and cuts well – I bought this hedge trimmer to replace my heavy petrol hedge trimmer (given I'm now using it every few weeks on a short hedge). Its alot easier on my… Read more

left arm thanks to its much lighter weight than the petrol machines. Its also cutting very well, I've cut some fairly fine stuff, and some thicker stuff with it, and its going well. Its got a 2 year commercial warranty on it, and the battery life is decent (seems to run for a few hours before needing to be charged).

So far I've only been using it briefly every few weeks since I got it in June 2023, so I'll update this review if anything happens in the future.

great little saw – My Husky 236 died and I purchased this and its vastly superior in every way. Easier to start, quiter, more grunt and better built. Highly recommended and good value for money Show details

Don't waste your time buying Echo products – I've owned one of these machines for a few years now, just had the motor serviced because of is having a bit of trouble starting at however now the… Read more

fan has chewed itself out somehow from the driveshaft, naturally you can't get parts for this machine anymore because the manufacturers don't care about their customers, so I suggest in turn you shouldn't care about their products.

Fantastic backpack blower – Firstly I must say I love all my Echo products and this is definitely up there as one of my favourites. Extremely light weight and comfortable on the… Read more

back, unbelievably quiet and surprisingly powerful in comparison to it's size/weight. This backpack unit is very compact compared to other units which can be bulky, taking up valuable space. Nothing negative can be said about this blower, highly recommended.

Wonderful piece of machinery – I purchased this unit approximately 2.5 years ago now and I use it quite frequently. It starts and runs like the first day I purchased it without… Read more

skipping a beat. Extremely easy to start, smooth in operation, really fuel efficient and plenty of punch when it comes to cutting quite high/thick grass. From memory I think I paid around the $750 mark and it's been worth every penny. Not the first unit I've purchased from Echo and definitely won't be the last. Highly recommended!
