Does anyone know where I can get a replacement foot with wheels?
If you Google search "Statewide Appliances" They have depos in most states. You can get really hard to come by parts from these guys. I buy & sell new and used goods online, and im forever looking microwave plates and vacuum cleaner parts, hoses etc. These guys have supplied me with many parts. They have a depo at Coburg North 9am - 5pm Mon to Friday (03)83719100. They should be able to help you or point you ion the rite direction.
How much is this machine please?
Hi Connie.
As far as I know this machine is no longer available, but I think Big w have replaced it with a Contempo vacuum cleaner which is very similar in looks, I looked it up this Morning. Price $29.00

Does the front brush remover to allow use as a handheld quick tidy up type of use?
Yes it does, you can use it as a dustbuster.
Our daughter gifted hers - but no instructions - we have tried pulling - twisting pleading... but it wil not budge! Is there a secret way?
Is this vacuum cleaner cordless?
No but it can be removed from the main stick but has a very long cord.
Lost instructions for 2 in 1 and need to know how to convert to hand held?
Adobe extension handle removal.
Unwind the power lead from the extension handle, on the right hand side of the machine is a small red button push this all the way in and at the same time pull the extension handle out.
Hope this helps. Gramps
Thankyou
where can I purchase the contempo vacuum cleaner?
Big W most big towns have one, I got mine in Canberra.
Where can I get spare parts the back locks have broken on mine? I have stuck it together with masking tape so I can still use it
I don't think you can get spare parts. You could look around the second hand for sales lists on ebay or gumtree and see if you can find a second hand one. I actually purchased two brand new when I picked mine up because I was aware of the problem of the back locks being weak. One to use and one for spares. They are really cheap so it might be worthwhile just going and purchasing a new one. Seems like such a waste I know, I hate waste but we unfortunately live in this throw away society these days.
Agree with you Jac.
It happened to mine onece as well. I'd done the same thing to hold them with masking tape as you did, Pam lol
I don think they sell indivisual parts, tho.
Agree with you Jac I would buy a new one but no one has them in stock
I notice that this site refers to the Vacuum Cleaner as an ABODE 2 in 1 Stick / Handheld Vacuum !!
The Owner's Handbook I have for mine refers to it as a CONTEMPO . Is this the same product ??
That's right. The brand name was changed but actually the same product.
I bought the CONTEMPO after a while looking for Abode which gone from the stock line. Old Abode filter fits perfectly and they seem they are made in the same mechanic line.
One wheel has broken off. Where can I get a new Floor Brush Attachment?
Anyone know?
Ihi Dusty. I want to buy a new 2in 1 as mine is now code to 5 yrs old. U could have the floor brush part from me as I will finally throw this one out or just use the short part of the vacuum cleaner for my car. I need to find out how to get a new one myself. Prob email directly to the manufacturer. Great little machine.
Hi Ming, Thank you very much for your kind offer. It would be good if we could get the Brush Attachment from you when you have finished with it as we really like the little Vacuum Cleaner and it is very handy.
Whereabouts are you ?? and How can we get the attachment from you ?? please Advise.
Kind Regards, ............... John

Where can I get spare filters?
I don't think they sell the filter separately. I sometimes wash and reuse it but it lasts till the vacuum wrecked every time.
I have had one of these for a couple of years and it's great but is starting to fall apart. I purchased it from Big W but they don't seem to stock them anymore. Where can I get one?
Hi - I bought one exactly the same as you and unfortunately have no idea where you can get another. Mine is still going strong.
They are on the BigW website under the name Contempo. external link
What is the suction power wattage on the abode 2 in 1 stick? As it doesn't mention in the Big W specs. And will it pick up hair, food bits like a normal vacuum?
It is 600 watts. I find it has great suction and compact and can store it away in a storage cupboard. Yes it does pick up hair, hard food bits etc. You must clean it out after you finished vacuuming.
Has anyone be able to find out where you can buy new filters for them?
No! Apparently you can't buy the filters.
I am sure if you take the filter to Bunnings or the like they will be able to sell you some of the fabric it is made from and you can cut it to size.
Where can I buy one?
You should be able to buy it at Big W.
I purchased mine at Big W - $49.
Hi - I bought mine in Big W, however, I am not sure the exact same one is still available, best check with them - good luck!
where do v get it for 38$ its 50$ in bigw?
I bought ours last year. $50 still worth it.
I bought it at BigW Brookside in Mitchelton over 12 months. Also bought another one recently for $50. Yes they have gone up a lot.
I paid $50 at Big W, North Lakes, May 2014. I had been keeping an eye out for a special prior to purchasing, however I gave up and paid full price. Worth every cent - if it died today, I'd rush straight out and buy another of the same.
