My 45 litre fridge has the same problem as many others who write here. I too get the E1 code when it starts on 12v and stops. It’s not the power source as many people are being told. It’s been working fine till now. Is there a systemic problem with these fridges that you can share so we can get them working again? This is the second Kings fridge that I have owned to have the same problem. Working fine for a long time then this happens. Very, very frustrating.
Hi Brian, this is generally caused by either low voltage being received, or a touchy connection, should you be getting the voltage required to the socket I would advise its more than likely the cable being pinched and not providing continuous input which can trigger E1.

Hi Becky, F1 and E1 both mean low voltage. If the fridge is connected to 12v, the battery could be too low to run the fridge, hence why the code is showing. Kind regards, Rachael
I just bought Kings’ 65L fridge. F1 is not an error code. I am pretty sure it is a setting code which is undocumented. It comes with another two: F2 and F3. Somebody needs to do their homework and find out what they are for.
Im searched and can nit find I have a H2 coming up on mu 45l kings fridge n does not seem to be getting cold.

My 45lt Kings fridge temperature is reading minus 4 but the Kings digital thermometer is reading 4.4 that's over 8 degrees difference And by the temperature of the beers I think the thermometer is right. Can the thermostat be recalibrated?

Ice cream doesn’t freeze at -4 needs to be -14 at least for ice cream to stay firm.

Hi, my 50L fridge has been working perfectly for the 2 weeks I've had it. I have it plugged into a secondary battery set up (12V).
I keep getting an E1 reading. Ive tried putting it on Low power mode and still doesn't fix anything. Does this mean there's an error with my secondary battery (on its way out) or is the fridge faulty?

Hi I have a similar question, once the fridge is at the desired temperature, is it best to keep it plugged into the power (be it mains or power station/battery) for it to stay cold? If charged up and cold prior to camping/trip, how long will it stay at desired temp or cold before it needs plugging back in and charging up again?

Recently brought a Kings 45L fridge. Have taken it home and plugged into 240v (the wall) and set the temp at -12. I have run it now for about 48hours and the internal temp is sitting consistently at - 1 to -3.
What can i do to make it freeze more.
I have it raised off the ground + space around the vents.
Ideas?

It was empty to start but fill it with Ice breaks/frozen meals to cool the interior temp. Nothing changed (they started to defrost)

Hi Thomas, Please try the below troubleshooting; Setup: 1. Adjust the low voltage cut-off switch to option 3/low voltage. a. The switch can often get caught on option 2 – make sure you adjust the switch 5-10 times to ensure it is properly set at option 3. 2. Turn fridge off and remove plugs from back, double checking that all cables are properly wired to the wall. 3. Allow fridge to sit for 15 minutes to reset CPU and inverter board. 4. Reconnect power cable to fridge and turn on. a. For best results you should connect fridge into wall using 240V. i. Alternatively, if using 12V ensure battery is at full charge (ideally >12.6V). 1. If you don’t have a battery, connect fridge to the 12V cigarette plug on your dashboard and ensure the car is fully running.
Testing: 1. After 40 seconds the fan should kick in. Put hand over the grill – you should feel the fan blowing. 2. After 5 seconds the compressor should kick in. You’ll be able to feel it on the fridge. 3. Wait 15-30 minutes to see if the fridge cools down to the desired value. This should resolve the issue 90% of the time.

Hi My kings fridge has a constant flashing red error light and is sitting at 12C and the compressor won’t kick in. There is plenty of battery as it’s hooked up to solar. Cheers Jock
check your manual, then take it back to the store you got it from and throw it at them. you wont get a refund as they are do there absolute best to lie about the product and will tell you they tested it and it was fine.

I have my fridge setting on 5 degrees Celsius yet the temperature in the fridge is going below minus 10 this is the first ime I have used the fridge it worked fine for the first seven days then froze everything
I changed the f1 setting to -2 as per a lings manual I found on line tried it today and problem seems to have been fixed I will see how it goes the next few days
