I'm having same issues as others just purchased and it won't allow me to disconnect the monitor and use no matter how much I charge,I did charge 15hours the 1st use and I have never been able to use without it staying connected was the whole reason I purchased,I have never had issues with there products I used them always for my children so thought would be awesome to purchase for my daughter for her children,my grandbabies an I'm kinda disappointed she always buys difficult ones that don't last an I always have stood by Angelcare,The way it's working kinda makes me wish I didn't show her your products cuz I was feeling stupid,she doesn't understand why it says it's mobile an it hasn't been able to do that since we purchased it,Anything they can do to help me show her otherwise that the product is amazing would be greatly appreciated because I have tried everything even to getting a new battery thought maybe just had bad battery when we got it an even then it hasn't been mobile an we have always followed the directions to the t,not hard to charge 15hours before 1st use that's all it has ever said to do when you 1st operate it an we did.please help me help her.thank you.

Hi, my Angel Care AC1300 had only been used for 1 year and the camera is no longer functioning properly. It switches itself off with the least movement or for no reason at all leaving us in a difficult position through the night for the last week. I'm disappointed given the cost we have only gotten 1 year out if it. I believe it is still under warranty? It was bought through Amazon and I can provide receipt. Thanks, Dawn

I have a brand new set up and just installed it all and the parent unit will not turn on unless it's plugged in. I charged it for the 9 hours prior to use etc. If it always has to be plugged in it defeats the purpose of being able to go around the house with it. Any suggestions?

Hi, The on and of switch on the side of the parent unit does not work, so I can’t switch it on or off. The screen now only works when it is charging and plugged in. Any help please?

Recently our console rendered useless due to a faulty cord. The end of the cord has somehow become lodged in the back of the unit and was stuck before eventually falling off. This now no longer allows us to charge the unit thus renders the entire device useless. The screen is working as expected as far as we know, however if the head console isn't then nothing is.

Can someone from angel care suggest the best way forward here. The device was purchased just on a year ago so is still quite new, and I understand Angel Care has a 3 year warranty on all monitors.

We would like this resolved as soon as is possible please as we are now without a working monitor and cannot track our son from any other room in the house.

I have the old model which I've had for 5years with no issues Just LOVE IT. I need a new one due to two bubs needing a monitor HOWEVER after all these terrible reviews regarding battery life etc on this new model I'm second guessing myself. Have there been any changes of battery etc since above feedback??

FYI I purchased the oricom video and movement for stays at my mums place and HATE it. has no range, video and movement are completely separate units so if movement alarm goes off no direct alarm on parent unit only noise from nursery.

Their customer service is perfect. They replaced the monitor in 1 week and it's been a month right now. Since it's a new one i've no issues for now but i'll see in a few months. When i took the broken monitor to the supplier they mentioned that there is a new upgraded model maybe you should try that one.

Does the pendulum not move to indicate baby is moving and breathing? We had the old ac401 model and this did.

Hi Steph, thanks for the question :) No, the alarm will alert if there is no movement of breath but there isn't a pendulum.

We absolutely love our angelcare monitor 1300. The problem now is the parent unit needs to remain plugged in charging otherwise as soon as it is unplugged no battery life remains. This was a present so no receipt. Any suggestons?

Hi Kristy, Yes we love ours too apart from the infuriating parent unit battery! We have resorted to using a portable 2x USB battery and USB cable with our parent unit so we can at least take it round the house and outside despite the failed parent unit battery. (It's too important to send away for warranty repair as far as we are concerned). With our unit at the moment, if you turn the parent unit back on with it plugged in, it can suddenly think that has enough battery and can then be unplugged and last for a good 30 minutes too, though it can suddenly just die without the warning too.
