How can I get replacement filters for my Mistral Desktop water filter unit?

I just noticed a bit of green stuff (algae?) in the filter. Will we get sick from drinking this water?

We have algae in the bottom and the top seems to have a White sort of film. Why would this be?

can you turn these bottles off at the power source and leave this way for 2 weeks . or should we empty the bottle and leave without water for 2 weeks?

I would keep the water in and empty/replace it when you get home depending on the environment of the unit. Algae will form inside whether it is on or off if exposed to light and various other factors. Algae in small doses is harmless and may even be beneficial.
