Hi Allen, Once the wash has already started, the duration of the cycle is set and cannot be changed. Before the cycle starts, the display should show the estimated time for each wash, some of which can be altered by changing the settings. Regards

I have the Ariston ARWDF129 washer- dryer model and it has started doing the same. Three rapid beeps, no code. In some cases the wash cycle never finished, so I cleaned out the trap and the intake hose filters, thinking it was a water flow problem. Not much dirt and water pressure is high. But the beeping keeps going through dry cycle as well. (Never finishing the wash cycle seems to have stopped though.)

Honestly i would contact ariston. I cannot fault their warranty and customer service. Really outstanding. Im sure they would point you in the right direction. Touch wood ive had no problems with my replacement machine

Hi Ves, F11 is a fault code which means the pump is not wired or the pump driving triac short circuit. To resolve this issue, check the efficiency of the contacts on connectors on PCB. Also check continuity and wiring on the pump. You may need to renew the pump or renew the PCB. If you are unsure about this, for your safety, I recommend contacting our Service Department on 1300 762 219. Kind regards, Ariston Team.

Hi Amy, yes we've just had (last week) the same error code message and it is to do with the pump and it not pumping the water out properly or even at all. One cause is that the pump mechanism itself is blocked with something (in our situation when the pump was taken out there was a plastic cable tie and other bits that had accumulated over the years which was stopping the pump to spin and therefore wouldn't pump the water out).

You can actually fix it yourself and it did seem easy when the washing machine service man was doing it and we will know for next time if it ever happens again but we weren't sure how and what to do this time. You just have to take the bottom kick panel off the front and then remove the pump which is located on the right hand side. Once you have the pump out then you have to carefully twist the inner casing out which can be tricky if things are caught in it. Then clean it and replace once all things have been removed from the pump itself.

Its a blockage in the pre-chamber at the base of the pump. 1. Unplug machine 2. Remove bottom panel below door (push in the sides to the centre and push down) 3. Have a towel or container handy. To the right is a screw cap. Twist anti-clockwise and remove (collect water on towel or container)

4. Clean inside and remove and objects

5. Replace cap screw and panel, turn machine back on

Hi thanks for your question, This error relates to draining. 1st possibility is drain pump impellor is jammed filter cover must be removed and check for foreign objects causing this error to occur. 2nd Possibility is Pressure switch is defective and reaching empty condition. So checking for blockages is something that you can do and if a fault is not rectified then Tech must attend to check pressure switch and drain pump. This used to happen to us also like yourself if you put your foot at the front of the machine and tip it forward back and forwards until you hear the click of the door releasing

Hi Chris. I also had the release device detach from the door catch , It had broken the plastic clip on the catch , the hole door latch has to be replaced ,the service man was able to open the door , by holding down the start button for a extended time with the dial in a certain position . unfortunately I do not know for sure what that position was ,sorry.

Sherridan, I had exactly the same problem... I purchased and extended warranty for another 5 years, unfortunately it did not cover the problem of the paint peeling and the rust or the mould on the rubber... I also prided myself on keeping the machine clean... however it did not stop rust or mould... I got rid of it.. after many attempts to contact Ariston on the internet to on avail... and have now bought a Fisher & Paykel so far so good but I have only had it for a few week... sorry I can't be of more help than that...

I am very pleased to let you all know that today my replacement washing machine arrived. Ariston were shocked to see the rust and paint bubbling of my machine. They emailed me the next morning to confirm that a replacement washing machine would be delivered to my home to replace the original one. To say that I was overwhelmed and ecstatic was an understatement. I would like to thank Arisit for their sensational customer service and hope to have many years of happy washing from now on.

My same model has done exactly the same thing ! Mould on the seals and the dispenser has lots of rust around it. Very disappointed

Sorry I cant advise you on this... Yesterday I decided to get rid of my Ariston Aqualtis because of the same issue you have... my 5 yr extended warranty ran out and the cost to keep fixing it was much too expensive... I have opted for F&P front loader... the repair man told me no matter what machine I buy they are all manufactured to last only 5 years at best... so he advised buy the cheapest... twice now I have paid over $1500 for two Aristons and both have been absolute garbage, why I didn't learn the first time, I'll never know... stupid I guess... anyway not a third time... my new machine was only $938 from Masters... I will give feed back on that after I have given it a fair go... I have spoken to people that have had machine for over 15 years that have finally packed it in... bought the same brand and found that it had not lasted 3-4 years... I am sorry but most products are now name in Chine, India, or somewhere there is NO QUALITY CONTROL... remember that... nothing not clothes, electrical goods, furniture is made with quality... and if they are made here the price is so astronomical it's not funny... the saying is WE GET WHAT WE PAY FOR... I have paid big bucks for Washers, clothes, furniture and nothing lasts... pretty pessimistic I know... but its just how I have experienced things... good luck with your washer...

This happened to me on several occasions with both of the Aristons I had. It is obviously a fault with their product. You will need to get a serviceman out, or do as we did - replace the machine with another brand.

You have a problem with the computer panel. It should not be doing this.

This is a fault with the machine and needs to be repaired, if possible, by a technician. Mine continued to have this issue after 3 repair call outs.

this is a constant problem with this machine, over 5 years it will cost you more is service costs than the price of the machine

Can't really answer that. If your machine is less that 2 years old it is under warranty and a call to Ariston may result in a service call . If it is between 2-5 years, they contract their service calls out. I'm still waiting to hear from the contractor for my latest issue 4 weeks later! Doesn't matter, have given up on Ariston, replaced the washing machine and retained my sanity.

Yet another defect of this machine, happens regularly to mine, just turn it off at the wall and wait a few minutes, it will be fine when you turn it back on again.
