So, the temperature of the water inside the washing machine can never be hotter than that delivered through the hot water tap? If my assumption is correct, the machine DOES NOT/CANNOT heat its own water. Thanks David
Hi David, I have just checked with Ariston technical support and they said that this model DOES have its own water heater. Depending on the program selected, it will heat the water to meet the temperature requirements of the particular program. Regards
Anthony, thank you for your answer. This feature is rather important, particularly in the ACT, as by law, a HWS can only deliver water at a max. temp of 48 degrees C., not much good for a HOT wash. Thanks again. David

How do I over-ride the door lock if it appears faulty? Door light is flashing rapidly but that only light flashing. Can I get the door open before the repair man comes as I have washing in there and can't get a serviceman till next week!
Read your manual. I have an AQXXL 109, over 3 years old, and there are instructions how to manually open the door via the kick strip at the bottom. Assume yours would be similar. Jan
