Aspera Wren Questions & Answers
VerifiedBack for a read in Nov 2024. The second battery I was sent for free is still going well. I've been using a battery monitor app to make sure I don't charge it more than 95% or let it get below 20%. I used to leave it plugged in when fully charged which was probably not a good idea. 3G turned off today but this phone still works on Aldi's 4G plan.
Like other questions and reviews. I actually have had a Wren for a while now and it's been really good EXCEPT the battery won't hold charge anymore. It seems like there has never been a replacement battery available. What do I do? I guess the only answer is to find a new dual SIM phone and buy it. Can anyone help?
3 months ago I had to beg Aspera for a spare battery. Supposedly I got the last one, so you'll have to either blutac the phone to a bulky portable usb power bank like I did for awhile or go blow another $100+. Office works Nokia 1.3 is the same specs for $120 and 2 year warranty.
Hi I got the Aspera Wren about 9-10 mth ago and its always had an issue since the beginning at the start it would always just freeze and start to have a seizure type thing on the screen and the only way to fix it was to turn it off completely and then on again and then that stopped for awhile but now i can have the phone fully charged and next thing i know it randomly just turns off and when i turn it backon it goes down to 1%. Any ideas why it does this as i need a phone for travelling to school and at the moment cant use the phone unless it is plugged in 24/7
Return this phone for a refund before it has a major meltdown
Ive contacted the support and they are going to try and fix honestly wish i had asked for a refund instead

Is there any where I can get a replacement battery for my aspera wren , my phone is really important to me and I've looking for one for ages , I also haven't been able to go on it this November 2019 , its now febuary 2020.I've only had it for 6 months and I accidentally maybe over charged it by accident , i'm not sure but now the battery life finishes in seconds when I charge it and even just turns off , so please reply and tell me what I can do but it also is swollen so that's why I can't use it , but i'm really glad I found this website i'm legit crying.
@nyah, nah, the 'Australian company' has never sold spare batteries for the Wren. What a bad planned obsolescence joke. Really wish I went with the Motorola one at the same price.

@Aspera F28 doesn't fit the Wren nor do you sell Wren spares! Mine is just out of warranty. 14 months use for $150 is a bad joke. Is there another brand that fits?
How do I fix this. Will someone answer my question soon Please Ada E
Hi Ada, Sounds like the battery is failing, sometimes if charging exceeds three hours on regular basis it affects the longevity of the battery. If you can send us your address details to info@asperamobile.com and we can send you a replacement battery.

I bought my Aspera Jenny Wren In February, Now it will not hold its charge and it keeps shutting now. I thought by buying an Australian product I would have better chance at a product. A Elliott
