Bepanthen Antiseptic Cream Questions & Answers
hi guys vcan i use this bepanthen on my acne ?thanks
Hello Jun, I am not a doctor, but I would NOT recommend Bepanthen for acne. I am not sure the cause of your acne is, however, Bepanthen is an oil based cream and so it would (I assume) cover the pores of your skin- blocking in any dirt, dead skin cells, pus etc and would stop your skin from cleaning itself.
My brothers and sister used a soap called Sapoderm medicated soap (now owned by dettol so is now called Dettol Sapoderm) morning and night in the shower and then followed that with an antiseptic toner called ten-o-six and an oil free moisturiser
Ok I am very confused. The reviews mention both a Blue or a White tube. The one I bought is in a box that is blue at one end and fades to white at the other end and the tube is the same. The box I have says it is an antiseptic First Aid Cream.
Is there a different cream to the one I have ? Thanks
Yes, the one that you have has the 'silky' consistency, like Savlon. The box and the tube that you have are the same, right? And it's a light, aqua kind of blue, and there is a pink picture of a baby up one end? The one that you bought was probably in the toiletries aisle, near the bandaids and burn cream and other antiseptics?
The one that I have, BEPANTHEN ANTISEPTIC CREAM is found in the nappy/baby aisle, it has a deeper coloured blue box with white writing with a pink stripe. The tube inside is white with blue writing. My cream has a thicker, 'goopier', very oily consistency. Try not to get it on any surface that you need to stick- like the sticky part of a bandaid- cause it'll never stick lol!
Hi Chris, thanks for your reply. No I have the First Aid Antiseptic Cream. Top of the tube is blue but fades to white at the base of the tube and has a white cap. The box is the same. Just I have read one works and one does not work and I am not sure which is which.
