SYM Mio 50cc/100cc Questions & Answers
VerifiedHi y'all I have a sym mio 50cc and there are no headlight switch on the scooter. Does the lights automatically come on? Or what should I do? We have looked up and down and tried to find a manual but nothing. Just bought it yesterday.
It comes on with the engine. If it’s not working it’s probably the bulb that needs replacing

Hi my 2009 sym mio 100cc has developed a problem starts and runs great when cold when it gets up to temperature it won't restart and when it gets hot it has no spark until it's cools down again iv replaced spark plug new coil new battery and new cdi and only thing left is the stator to be replaced any advise will be appreciated cheers tod
Not a nice problem at all. Don't forget to change the spark plug suppressor cap too. I'd have done what you've done. Here in the UK, I love my local motorcycle repair shop. Noel is happy for me to ring him up and ask for advice. He actually loves such stuff. Locally to you, do you have a equally friendly motorcycle repair shop? Give them a try, simply say, Hi, I hope you don't mind, I have a problem with my bike, and explain. Equally, and I learned this as a kid, call round to your local friendly motorcycle club, and say the same, Hi, I wonder if I can ask your advice.? Not all bike clubs are scary, I've run family orientated bike clubs all my life. Further, check to see if there's a Sym Mio owners club on line. I bet someone there had had the same problem and would be happy to give you help and advice. Best Regards. Kevin Savage UK

Does it have enough fuel? Also have you used high octane fuel? I found that E10 and standard octane fuel can hurt the engine
I’m not sure what the fuel is,I live on an island, all I know is that it’s unleaded
Do you know if they have any other fuses apart from the one that is near the battery ?
