Bosch MOVE 2in1 Questions & Answers
VerifiedHello dear, I have a Bosch 18v vacuum cleaner, model bbhmove6/02. It malfunctioned and stopped working. I opened it and noticed that all the internal resistances were burning and all of their colors were gone. I only need to replace them. Can you provide me with the value of these resistors so that I can replace them with new ones? With my gratitude to you
Hi my Bosch Readyy’y vacuum is charging and the hand held part works fine. When I go to use the full vacuum it won’t turn on with the switch on the handle. If I turn on the hand held part while it is still inserted in the vac, then turn on the main switch on the handle the brushes turn and it works, but as soon as I turn off the hand held part it stops. I’ve never had this problem before, just now. Usually the vac works from the main switch in the handle only for upright use. Please advise.
Hi, where can I buy a new battery for my "Bosch 14.4v Move 2in1" in Gothenburg, Sweden? Pls reply to s.e.eng@live.se Thanks! Susanne Evert Eng
can I get an accessory for the 2in 1 as it has been discontinued? I need the carpet brush
Hi Subir, Thanks for the question regarding your Bosch vacuum. There are no accessories by that name. If it is the floor nozzle, position 104 as per external link then it is not discontinued, just not in stock in Australia. It would take approximately 3 weeks to come in from Germany once the order is placed. You can call us and press option 4 to put the order through over the phone. Hi my instruction manual says the blue light will go off when fully charged. But after 12 hours charge it stays blue. Is something wrong?
Hi Melinda, Thanks for the question regarding your Bosch vacuum. Please see an excerpt from the manual below: The indicator remains lit for as long as the vacuum cleaner is connected to the mains via the charger. It does not go out even when the vacuum cleaner batteries are fully charged. It is normal for the charger and vacuum cleaner to become hot and not a cause for concern.

Sooo, just to be sure i can leave it on the charger and charge it (always every day 24hrs) and it won't harm the battery?
Correct.
Wrong, did this, it killed the battery. Don't leave it on the charger! Let it discharge then charge again. NiMH/NiCd batteries don't like to be charged all the time.
I left mine on charge 24/7 and it killed the battery quite quickly. I didn't even get a full year's use out of it. :(
Should I leave my Bosch bbh2 on charge all the time?

I am in UK so do not know the consumer law where you are...but these cleaners have been discontinued...they are crap. Sorry.
I got this vacuum not too long ago and I would like to know if it can get damaged if I leave it charging overnight?
Hi Nickolas, thanks for your question. The choice is yours, you can leave the appliance on charge with no issues. Regards, Bosch Home Australia.
I do not think that can happen from my experience.

Thanks
Hi Klaudia, Thanks for your question regarding your Bosch Vacuum. To clean it, release the floor tool from the vacuum cleaner. Cut through threads and hairs wound round the rollers using scissors. Vacuum threads and hairs with the crevice nozzle. You can find pictures in the appliance user manual.

I cannot find the charge point on my vacuum cleaner , it may be staring me in the face but i'm still none the wiser, where exactly should this be?
Hi
On the back of the vacuum is a slot which slides into the charger. Keep the handle at 90° and lower the vacuum onto the floor charger- should slot in. Hope this helps.
The rotating brush does not work properly. it initially turns around and then the lower lamp goes out and stops working. How do I solve this problem? Model is 2 in 1 14.4 v. Please HELP!!!

Hi Lee S, Thanks for your question regarding your Bosch BBHMOVE4AU vacuum. Please charge your vacuum with the charger provided. Please refer to your manual that is also provided with your appliance.

HI Lee,
The vacuum stands up in the charger. So, ensure the charger is plugged in (power pack plugs into the side of the stand) so when you stand your vacuum back on its stand it should light up with a blue light.
I recently bought move 2in1 18v. My question is that how can I know the battery fully charged?? Charghing lamp never turned off! How much time needed to fully charge???
The light on the changing base is only a power light indicating a good connection and that the battery is charging. It will not extinguish when the battery is fully charged. My experience has been that once low on power as indicated by motor sound and efficiency of suction, a two hour break for charging should be sufficient. Keeping the filter clean and collection chamber emptied allows for the motor to draw less power extending it's life. I hope this helps!
Where can I buy a new battery for BBHMOVE4AU?
Contact Bosch by phone or look at their website, they would be the best people to help you.
call this number for Bosch1300 369 744, I believe this is still their customer helpline
The battery life on my Bosch stick vacuum has shortened dramatically. This may have coincided with our installation of new carpet. Could there be another explanation? Do I need a new battery? We've had it less than two years.
Mike, I'd be guessing about your situation. A couple things come to mind though. It makes sense that a longer pile carpeting would cause your Bosch to work harder and thus shorten the usable between change life of the battery. Also, like any chargeable battery, they sometimes developed a memory. In other words, they think they are charged but actually they aren't. I'm not sure of the battery type the Bosch has. Another thought is to keep the filter clean. I clean mine after each use to ensure free flow of air. Once blocked, the workload on the vacuum increases tremendously and that will shorten battery life. I've had mine 1 year and use it daily for light dirt on a low pile carpet. I have noticed a slightly shorter battery life between charges but for the area I use the Bosch on, it lasts two full days. I do place it on the charge cradle after each use and I might be dealing a bit with the battery memory issue. I hope this helps!
