Just purchased this - why oh why do the back wheels continually keep falling off?? Very frustrating! Keep putting them back on - hear the click but within minutes they fall off again! Any help please!
My 34LI Rotak Ergo Flex Cordless mower is 10 years old. It needs a replacement battery. It was Article no.2607225657. Will a new battery Bosch F016800474 36 V 2.0 Ah Lithium-Ion Battery for 36 V System Tools, Green fit my old mower and also the original charger?
I dont know
I just bought a new battery and it is still cutting off within 2-5 seconds
the cutter bar on my machine has 10mm central hole please advise part number
My lawnmower has a broken part. On the left side of the handle when I’m holding the lawnmower, the plastic bit that joins onto the narrow bar that lifts to start the mower has snapped off. I can’t find it in lists of spare parts. I wonder If anyone can help please? I’ve superglued it back on but don’t think it will be strong enough. Thank you.
these plastic bits are crap - new bits cost an arm and a leg - I have patched mine up several times by drilling the plastic arm you speak of and managed to add a 3/16 or 1/4 inch bolts with a bit of aluminum to strengthen it up - so far so good - like trying to make a silk purse out of a sows ear - old mate bosch dont want to know
Thank you, I’ve botched (or should that be Bosched!) it up too! No help from Bosch ☹️It’s hanging on!
Are the motor brushes in a rotak 34 Li, the same as the rotak 34?
It's a 32Li model but you don't have that model listed. Battery is fully charged but when inserted into the mower, the key turned and the levers on the handles pressed it won't start. It's always been tempremental starting up but usually after replacing the battery a couple of times it works. Tried 20 times this afternoon and still no joy. Only had it for a year so expect it to last longer. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks
Mower will sometimes not start or stops during use. On/off switch replaced by repair shop....no need... switch was good. Battery in good condition and charging successfully and making good contact. Strongly suspect the heavy duty flat connector to the motor under the electronics module, but seem seated firmly. Base of electronics module has 3 motor rotation detect sensors... are these functioning properly? Relay in electronic module can be heard to click but again is it actually switching power to the motor? The electronic module would be too costly to replace just to see... and the motor is a special phase rotation field winding with no brush gear so difficult to test. Has anyone else found further information on what appears to be quit a common problem? Thank you
Hi there, I have the same problem with mine - I have just received it back from the Bosch repair centre and used it today. I was able to start it and mow for a couple of minutes but when I tried to restart it, as soon as I released the start button the motor stopped. This is so frustrating, this was not a cheap product!
Hi there, seems I encountered the same problem today and got completely stressed wasting a lot of time having to take the battery out repeatedly and resecure it with the lock key. The battery was falling out onto the grass at one stage so I think the locking mechanism inside the machine has perished or worn so that the battery cannot connect to it securely. My mower has cut out a lot in the past and I have had to relock it and this usually keeps the mower working for a good while after I do this. I think the connection isn't strong enough to begin with and vibrations from the mower can loosen it. However it's not holding now at all. Luckily I had some black sticky extra tough ultra tape and stuffed some strips against the front of the battery in its holder. Managed to get job completed without battery cutting out again. So the problem is a bad connection inside the machine which will probably cost a lot to fix... looks like the sticky tape routine will have to suffice until I can get a reasonable repair quote from a local dealer...if there is one in my area.
Yes looks like a rotation censor problem mine works fine with out the blade put the blade on starts stops just wondered if any one has got to the bottom of the problem could the sensors be disconnected can see various coloured wires coming out the controller wondered about cutting but don't know the right one or if it would deactivate them
Tried wooden blade and stops so nothing to do with blade
My lawnmower was working the all of a sudden the rotor blades stopped turning is there any way of fixing this problem?
Water entered the lawn mower and seems like it caused a short circuit. It won't work! Any help?
I need to change the blade on my lawnmower but I can not remove the nut/bolt. What size spanner should I use?
I have sprayed it with WD40 but still wont turn>
I have a Rotak 34 LI which is reaching the end of it's life (the height adjustment broke and it's probably not worth fixing). Are the charger and battery from the 34 LI compatible with the 43 LI? In other words, can I reuse the charger and battery from the 34 LI for a Rotak 43 LI if I buy one without charger and battery?
I don’t think it will work 13 Rosehill Crescent, Willetton 34l used 3.0v and 43l uses 4.0l
Not sure what you're talking about... According to the specs both have 36V batteries
Yes it will work, i have 2 sizes of battery both fit the new 43 mower i have just bought you can safely buy with out buying the batteries, Bosch make 1 battery to fit all their power tools except for the smaller tools then it has a smaller size that fits all
Who sells the bosch-rotak-34-li? We're on the Central Coast NSW and I cant seem to find where to get one...
I suggest phoning the manufacturer (Bosch - Australia) and ask where you can buy a Bosch Rotak mower in your state. BTW there are 3 model numbers 34, 37 and 43 and I think that has to do with the size of the blades (= cutting area).
Not sure if you are still looking, but I got mine through e-bay from mitre10 the entrance. They were very helpful. It says pick up only, but phone them and Johno will arrange delivery for $40. Arrived in about 12 days. Take into account PayPal clearing time and weekends. I use PayPal for the inbuilt insurance.
