Our Bosch WAN24121AU is proving a big disappointment and I've just pulled another item off clothing out of the machine with a tear in it. I've coped with singlets and socks having tears but my just purchased and first time washed cotton shirt has a tear in the sleeve which can only have come from the machine. I've never experienced tears from my washing machine and I've been doing this for a long time! Are there any thoughts on how to prevent this from happening?

I dont know. All our Bosch products fell apart after a few months to a year. Not getting them again.

What Bosch dryer with 550mm depth would be stackable on Bosch Serie 4 8kg Front Loader Washing Machine WAN24121AU? Thanks.

Have you had any problem with the spinning with this machine?

Julie.W

Yes, I have had my machine for about 2 months and find that it doesn't spin the clothes as good as my previous Bosch front loader. My old one generally spun the load around 1000rpm and the one is meant to do 1200rpm but everything comes out more damp taking so much longer to dry. Really not happy with that.

Hi julie we are experiencing this same problem with the clothing coming out too wet it says that the spin speed is max 1200rpm and 1200 speed settings I wonder if anyone knows how we can increase the spin speed settings can anyone help us with this

Julie this To increase the spin speed on your Bosch Series 4 WAN24124AU washing machine, follow these steps: Turn on the washing machine and select the desired wash cycle. Press the Spin Speed button to select the desired spin speed. The available options are 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1200, and 1400 RPM1. Press the Start/Pause button to begin the wash cycle. If you’re still not satisfied with the spin speed, you can try balancing the laundry load or adjusting the motor and belt 2.

According to the manual, I need to run the 'drain' programme after cleaning the drain pump on our machine. This programme is referred to several times in the manual, however, there is no 'drain' programme on the machine? What should I select after clwaning the drain pump, or is there a way to get to the drain programme somehow?

I think you need to put it on SPIN program

Can I stack the Series 4 8kg Heat Pump Tumble Dryer WTH8300AU on top of this washing machine w/the applicable stacking kit?

Camelia

Hi Chrisalina i am not recommending because your washing machine vibrations can cause a problem for your Dryer, I have installed my Dryer next to the washing machine

How is the noise and vibration during a normal washing cycle? We are placing the washing machine in a closet near a living area in a townhouse. So we are looking for a quiet washing machine.

It's very quiet on a washing cycle, just the last couple of seconds for spin it has heave vibration

Super quiet. For us, the only bit we hear and that's only if we are looking out for it is the draining at the end that lasts about a minute. Otherwise really great timing. We regularly put it on at night and it's no worries for us

I can't leave the door open of my Bosch WAN24121AU after washing for space reasons - it is located in a cupboard in my bathroom and I need to keep the cupboard door shut. How do I ensure that no mould grows in the machine - would running the clean cycle once a week keep mould at bay?

Julie K.
Julie K.

I have mine in a kitchen cupboard. Unfortunately mould and a bad smell will grow in any wet damp environment and it will in your machine too if you don’t dry it out thoroughly. My understanding is that the drum clean cycle is to remove detergent residue and bad smells, that result from using low temperature and cold wash cycles only. I follow the manufacturers instructions and dry the rubber door seal and detergent compartment with a cloth after each use. I then leave the front door and detergent compartment open for about an hour afterwards and then close all of the doors. Hope that helps.
