Hi I’ve just purchased a second hand cebo ycc50a and it’s coming up with error code er7. Does anyone know what this means and can I fix it myself?

Am i mossing a valve on the machine where it sucks put the milk? The black lid wont go in propely

DEAR Macy, sorry the milk frother is for cappuccino. if you just connect the white hose to the black knob directly, you can take the latte. Been using Cebo YCC-50a for about a year now but after a month of no use tried yesterday and an error icon starts blinking, it does make a good coffee at the beginning but second brewed trigger the error. Can you guys help!

Dear Mc, it could be error-5. 1) relax the coffee machine - boiler is overheatd. disconnect the power cord from the outlet and wait for 30minutes for temp down. 2) drain the water - reattach the water tank from the coffee machine

- drain the hot water with hot water tap in front of coffee box for 1 cup.

3) try to make the coffee

- maximize the coffee amount with dial then make the strong coffee as you do.

Dear Mc C, best to listen to Bruce he's a legend with these machines. Odds on its just a lack of water in the boiler after a month of no water flow through the machine and a very hot summer. However, if you have not changed your machine's water filter during the past year now is probably a good time to do it. Its such a shame there's not a local distributor here in Oz. They really are fantastic machines... Mine has produced more than 9000 cups and only needed about 10 water filters and one pump replaced (about 2 cents a cup for maintenance). I've had mine for years and say good morning to it everyday when I'm at home.

Hi follow up with my concern, the procedure was effective for my unit and it works now, but just a few days ago. After a good coffee cup was served suddenly it stops making another coffee. It seems like water won't drain freely from tubes going to the grained beans. Not even a drop of coffee was made. Aside from that boiler boils water and drain contains alot of water even how many times i clean it out, any suggestions. Thanks

Dear Mc C, firstly, water flow is important for coffee machine, reattach the water tank and drain the hot water with hot water tap in front of coffee box. drain 1 cup. this has the vibration pump inside so if the sound is ok and spout water is ok, the coffee machine is ok. if water drain is not good, there are possiblity on the problem of pump or boiler. in the pump, some foreigners are inside or clogged / Spring or some parts are broken in the pump. for boiler, there are some scales inside, it interrupt the flow of water & heating. if the water flow is ok but coffee is not spouted, please clean the pass throw of coffee powder from grinder. and clean the brewer unit. please check them all carefully and let me know if you have any more questions. Our Cebo coffee maker was great. However, after some time of not using the coffee maker, tried to start making coffee again with my Cebo coffee maker - after switching it on, the water warning symbol kept blinking despite having water in the reservoir. Changed the water and cleaned the reservoir but still having the water symbol blinking. Cannot proceed further with that Water symbol blinking. Please any advice?

thanks for your questions. if the coffee machine's water flow is not smooth, the green light is flushing. please open the hot water tap in front of coffee box, drain the hot water to 1 cup. then, retry to brewing coffee for strong with maximize of water control. please email me if you have some problem at [email removed] (Manufacturer of CEBO coffee machine in South Korea)-

Sorry no idea. Do yourself a favour and buy a nespresso latissimo, or similar... our cebo had to go in the bin, very sad day but have never looked back.

Does any one know what kind of sensor is on the bean cover top? I have moved house and misplaced the lid and it is flashing on the bean icon we have tried alsorts to cover sensor but no luck can any one help plz x

Jam a bean into the little hole at the base of the bean compartment and it will override the censor... it works for me :)

2800 cups of coffee in, and generally happy with machine. My problem at the moment is the coffee is starting to get a 'burnt' flavour. Not sure if it is the brewer on the way out or something with the motor?? Can anyone help? The model is the same as the one pictured above not sure if 50A or B.

I am just coming up 1000 cups and no real problem so far. My understanding is that both A & B machines are virtually identical inside. Suggest you contact Rocco at the distributors, he is pretty knowledgeable. I am no expert but is it possible to get a batch of over roasted beans?

I also suggest you contact Rocco. I've had a couple of issues, and he has been extremely helpful and provided good advice to resolve them. 3800 cups and going strong...although i need a new water filter!

We have had our 2nd replacement CEBO about 4+ years, over 4000 cups, few initial issues but found customer service very helpful and courteous. Not a particularly good coffee machine (grind is too coarse, milk splutters and not very frothy) but its simple, basic and suits our needs for ourselves and in our tiny rural shop. For now. ;) Have now bought a Rancilio Silvio for personal use. Brilliant. :)

I cannot get any coffee to come out of the machine only milk & then hot water from the hot water spout - not the coffe spout on the left. It appears that the machine in not switching over to the coffe spout. Any help would be appreciated.? Thanks Dave.

Look at the question from Tankav21 [half way down this page] and the answer Herm received from the Supplier, try it and your problem will probably disappear.

Thanks Peter - I should have added I checked the coffee spout coming from inside the machine - mine is not blocked. It appears that something is not switching to get the water to go through the ground coffee beans as all that comes out is clear water. The milk comes out OK the beans grind - just no beautiful coffee. We have had this machine for approx 4 years & have made approx 4000 cups of coffee without missing a beat. Thanks Dave

No couldn't get it sorted. Ended up buying an Aldi Pod machine - works great & very cheap - approx. $110 for machine & milk frother. Very easy to use & a great variety of coffee.
