I had the app on my old phone. But my new Samsung wont support this app. I have had this 75l fridge for 7 years with no problems.
How do we download the app when device says it doesn't support it?

Mine just died today dead as a dodo. no diplay even on mains or the battery - after only purchased Dec 2023. used 4 times.
This happened to us with two of these fridges. (new units) The control boards was toasted by an internal wiring fault. Overall, our experience with these fridges was lamentable. The original unit had to be returned the day after purchase due to a wiring assembly quality control fault. The second new unit lasted two test uses at home (failed battery). The next one (control board failure, warranty repaired and failed immediately again) failed on our yearly camping trip after one day and ruined our holiday. We declared the fridge "not fit for purpose" under Australian Consumer Law and the company refunded our money. We will never touch one again. The factory quality control on these units is abominable. Bushman and Evakool are reliable and durable units best suited to Australian conditions in our view. Anything made in China is to be avoided. And I mean anything.

Yep I have 1 that constantly showing F1 on 12v or 240v. The other fridge showing nothing on display. Both just out side warranty, do not go near these fridges. Spend the money and get a decent one.

I got mine from bcf, but that was a few years ago, they might still be able to point you in the right direction

the unit has blue tooth you can adjust the voltage down to 10 volts thru the app and connect blue tooth that will stop it cutting out on 12 volts
Hi there, I need a New 12v plug cord as mine has stopped working. Pins fell out ??? I have tested and replaced the pins with crimp on terminals but this is dodgy. Can I still buy a 12 v cord for my 45ltr Xero I've had it for nearly 5 years works ok, But trips out and starts beeping whilst still on 12.6 v input ??

We have just purchased the 75l companion, blue tooth. On our first trip and the compressor won’t work on 12v. Keeps beeping when ever voltage input falls below 12v. We started at 3 and -13, been warming slowly. Stayed at 6 and -2 for two hours but now at 7 and 0. Looking forward to a defrosted fridge.
Not effing happy... will call the manufacturer on our return but reviews above don’t look favourable for that avenue.

I purchased companion fridge freezer that broke down 1 week out of warranty the companion company would not help me ,take the effing thing back and get you money back and buy something else DON'T buy companion anything they don't sand by the warranty King's sell a good fridge freezer I have one for 18 months and has not given me any trouble

Connect your fridge so it's powered up. Download the (Companion) Xero app on your phone. Go into your phone's Bluetooth settings and search for Xero. Use code 9999 to pair. (Your phone may not show it's paired...but it should be!) Once paired, exit the phones Bluetooth settings and open the Xero app. Making sure your fridge is still connected, search for Xero in the app and connect. Now you can control the fridge settings and check its temperature remotely. Enjoy!

I have 75l companion and keeps beeping every now an then on 240v 12v the compressor is working just the beeping
We took ours back to BCF. Fixed in 2min. Haven't had a issue since
understand the left chamber is X and E buttons. to lower the battery cut off voltage do i just push these buttons at the same time or any other special trick. cheers

Cant set my own temper on fridge..it always changes
not too sure about that one, sounds like a circuit board problem. They had issues with them which led to me having two replaced under warranty. I would contact the manufacturers hopefully they will replace the item. Good luck Chris.

Sell it and get something else they are rubbish I had one and after the warranty ran out 2 weeks after the warranty ran out Companion would not help send it back

Freezer-12/14. Fridge can freeze if full at -4.
If you have a Companion fridge freezer sell it and get something better anything is better than Companion if it lasts 2 years you got lucky I was not so lucky one week after warranty ran out fridge broke down, and they didn't even make any kind of an offer to help fix it bottom line DON"T BUY COMPANION
All Companion products I had have been thrown away and have been replaced. Sometimes with cheaper products witch so far are better.

Hi. Wayne you press MODE three times and current setting flashes. Press up/ down to select setting. Display flashes for 3 seconds and displays new setting. Hope this helps.

I would never again buy Companion fridge freezer they are rubbish do the smart thing and sell just get rid of it I had one it broke down one week out of warranty and Companion Primis would not help me I got a better one from kings camping surpplies

Go to BCF store they should kwon someone who repairs the frigdes and don't buy companion or primus is junk
