Nespresso Citiz

My Citiz machine has suddenly started to send as much water and coffee into the used pod container as into the cup . Can you please advise what the problem is. This is the second Citiz that I have had , the first lasted many years and I have had this one about 2 years I think.
Regards,
Neal.

I have not used my Citiz for approx 6months, now after deciding to use it again it makes a quiet humming noise (not the usual loud running noise) and is not sucking up the water. I cannot dismantle, as the screws are round, to have a look and clean everything within.
Please any help would be awesome as I'm ready to throw the thing.

I have power going to the milk frother but seem to have no power(no light illumination) on the cup displays or to the machine. Does anyone have any clues. I've tried googling to no luck. Thanks

Hi Andrew
Never had this problem but can only think it could be the connection from milk pot to machine and to make sure this is clean and cleared of any build up. If not it sounds like a new machine.
Is there no online Nespresso help line.
Good luck

We are having a problem with the frother. After working well for a year or two it has suddenly started producing milk that is way less frothy. I have cleaned everything, it is clearly spinning very quickly, almost too fast I suspect.

anyone gt any ideas?

Thanks
Steve

when the capsule is completed processing there is still residual water/coffee inside the pod. IIts not machine fault think you will find that happens wit all 'pod style machine". Its the bain of my life with Doclh-Gusto device

Why doesn't the frother spin and froth the milk

1 answer
Tiff1971
Tiff1971

Not sure. My milk frother leaked badly. I removed the round spring coil from the magnetic mechanism and the leaking has stopped. It now just heats the milk without frothing which is fine for me as I only use the machine for hot chocolate and latte.
Have you taken off the magnetic spinner and checked it? Make sure there's no dried milk inside or that it is not misshapen causing it to stick in the stationery position.
