How do I clean the filter on the Dimplex DT750RI

Hi Grahame, Thank you for your question. To clean it: 1. Turn the unit OFF and disconnect the appliance from the power supply. 2. Remove any dust build up with a soft brush. 3. Wipe the surface of the unit with a soft damp cloth. Mild detergent can be used for any stubborn marks. Thanks

You cannot... Do what I did and throw it out because otherwise it will harbor bacteria and nasties. You can brush the OURSIDE but all the nasty dust and grime is INSIDE, and there is NO WAY of getting into there. Next time buy a unit you CAN clean, make sure of this by getting the sales staff to SHOW YOU how it is done. I was bitten bad by DIMPLEX and will never buy another DIMPLEX product as long as I live.

Hello Ian Thank you for your enquiry regarding your tower fan. The model that you refer to was brought into Australia and distributed by Hagemeyer and therefore unfortunately we do not have any information about this unit. You may be able to down load a user manual from the internet.

Hi mate,

My tower fan Dimplex Dt750ri is so noisy cause of dust. I can find the way to open the cover to clean. Please give me instructions or manuals. Thanks so much.

Hi there Please note that opening of the sealed unit is not covered in the Owner's manual or instructions for use as the covers of the tower fan are not be removed by anyone not suitably qualified to do so. If the unit does require to be cleaned internally, this type of maintenance should only be performed by your local authorised repairer of small electrical items.
