Note to everyone unhappy with their Ecosa bedding - we have consumer protection laws so despite the short "warranty" period Ecosa provides consumers have other rights under the law to receive products that are fit for purpose - expensive bedding that pills and degrades after a few uses is not acceptable.
Hi Jess, Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate that you brought this to our attention. We completely understand how disappointing it can be to not meet your expectations. To be honest, this is not the experience we pride ourselves on at Ecosa.
So we can sort this out as promptly as possible, please send an email to michellejoyce@ecosa.com.au along with your order number, and I'd be happy to look into this for you.
I hope we can still turn your experience around.
Looking forward to hear back from you.

We're going through this now, so some things have not changed. Washing at room temperature and not placing bedding in the sun doesn't appear as hygienic as I would like to believe. Certainly, body oils, etc., will not wash out at room temperature. Adding vinegar and bicarb to the laundry to accommodate Ecosa seems unreasonable, even if these more natural alternatives make sense.
Hi Robert, Thank you for sharing your concerns. We understand that our washing instructions may not align with your expectations, and we're sorry to hear that you're not satisfied with the results. We'd be happy to help you find a solution that works better for you. Can you please provide your order number so we can look into this further and offer additional assistance?
I'll keep an eye out for your response.

I brought these sheets and a doona cover before Christmas and am waiting to use when we go into our new house. Is there anything at all I should avoid doing so that I don't have the same problem these poor people have had ?
Not really - I followed all care instructions provided by ecosa VERY carefully and I’ve only used the sheets 4 times. Unfortunately the product is just very poor quality, and the customer service is just as bad. I would suggest trying to see if you can return them while the packages are still unopened, if by chance they happen to be reasonable and accept the return, then go and purchase better quality products from a more reputable company.
I definitely would not ever purchase again, but hopefully you got lucky with your purchase and it lasts longer than a few uses.
Bamboo can be a delicate material so should be hand washed when possible otherwise washed in a room temperate gentle machine wash using only a mild detergent.
Tara even if you follow the washing instructions to the letter you will still have problems with these sheets and when you contact customer service they will quickly blame you for the issue. The story is that you are paying top price for very poor quality and no customer service.
Big thanks to those who have posted and saved me a super expensive mistake. There is absolutely no way in the world I would hand wash my sheets, and putting them in a delicate room temperature wash sounds like something I’d have done with my children and not my bed sheets.
Same! I was about to purchase 3 sets! - So relieved I read these - will go to another supplier and not throw away my hard earned money :) Thankyou so much
