The battery in my cleaner now only lasts a couple of minutes. It is cleaned regularly. Do the batteries degrade over time and can they be replaced?

Please show how to remove the internal Filter EF 150nPNC: 900 168 374 (the fluted/ribbed internal section) from the external filter housing. I can easily remove the combined filter from the dust bin using the top opposing clips but there is a small black clip on the side underneath the top of the main clip housing which prevents removal of the internal ribbed filter.

I have a white Ergorapido. Love it. Batteries died but charged up then red light comes on. Have checked the fan which has no dust in it. Dont know why its not working. $160 for 4 new batteries I am gutted.

Do these units need a battery replacement??

Burntfingers
Burntfingers

I'm guessing they would (after a lot of recharging), but the battery could possibly last the life of the product - unless recharged a hell of a lot. Mine has no sign of the battery flagging after a year or more's very regular use.

My Ergorapido zb3311 18 volt vac is approximately 3 years old. In the last few months it has started dropping anything a bit larger than fluff as soon as I turn it off or lift it to put on the charger. I clean the filter regularly and never had this problem before. Have checked hose, foot and filter for any kind of blockage but nothing. Any advice would be appreciated.

No idea. Ask an rep from the company. I just a consumer who put in a complaint

You’re lucky to get 3 years out of it, I got less than 2

The hose part right next to the roller can be hard to clear (an old pencil will do it) and if the roller gets hair around it that will also cause the problem you describe. I have to cut hair off the roller with a box cutter blade.

Hi The hand unit works fine on its own, however the stick unit cuts out after 2 seconds. How do we fix this please G

Sorry can't help you, despite cleaning and new filters it won't suck properly. Have stopped using it!!

Mine was doing the same stick vacuum turned off after a few seconds but the handheld worked. I took the brush roller out of the vacuum head and inside the head there is a round piece with a star/asterisk imprint that the roller clicks into and there was hair wrapped around that stopping it from spinning. Once I got the hair off that piece and clicked and locked the roller back in the stick vac went fine. Could be a similar issue for you.

Why does my vacum stop working after 3 orc4 min when it shows it has been fully charged

Burntfingers
Burntfingers

I have no idea, The only possibility I can think of is that there is a blockage somewhere - which will shut down the machine as a protective action. If not - and the unit is still under warranty - it should be returned.

why does my ergo vac handheld work but the full unit cuts out after just a few 'pushes'

How often do you have to change the filters? Is it good for doing skirting board and around windows? Does it hav an attachment for that?

thank you:)

Burntfingers

You can detach it to make it a 'mini vac' for those jobs. (The nozzle is clipped into the back of the upright unit and detaches easily). I haven't replaced the filters yet (just knocked out the dust from them) but it looks like you'd get reasonable life from them, and they're not too costly. Whoops! I just went and checked, and the filters are actually washable. It's marked 'washable' on the paper element, and its obvious that the foam rubber one can be washed too.

My ergo doesn’t charge at all. The light doesn’t even come on. I tried a different charger and still doesn’t work. So it’s definitely the handheld unit itself that is the issue. I have only had it for a few years and it doesn’t even get used that often. I’m not sure what to do. I have spent alot of time researching but have found no answers. Could it be a battery issue?

Hi Matthew. I'm sorry I can't help here. Mine is a great unit, works and charges well. As batteries don't last forever, even rechargeables, I would suggest that is the problem. I'd suggest buying a new one.

Hi. My stick vacuum was working, then I emptied and put back on and then when I turned back on a red light and sometimes there's no light on and my stick vacuum wouldn't work. The dust butter is fine and it works but the main stick does not. Any ideas?

Gazza

Sounds like a blockage , or maybe hair in the roller? Or a dead battery ….. otherwise take it to a repairer?

Hi when I use the self clean peddle on the vacuum the roller brush stops spinning, was working fine making the torque sound as expected now nothing?

Gazza

Sorry , I have a different model. But I find mine need a regular manual clean . Scissors, ( hair) and getting familiar with the parts might help. I clean or replace the filters OFTEN.

It just sits in the stand, placed carefully …..the charging lights indicate success!
