I have been taking urinary tract support for many years now. Is it possible that it could be contributing to generalised aches and pains. I put these down to aging(I am 59) but just wondered about the safety of using them long term
Hi i would like to know if it can be harmfull to your kidneys
Thank you for your enquiry on Ethical Nutrients Urinary Tract Support. We are happy to advise that there are almost no known herb or drug interactions, and it is a well-tolerated product across all population groups. It is anti-inflammatory and healing to the tissue of the urinary tract, and there are no known negative effects on the kidneys. If you suffer from severe renal impairment, we suggest monitoring this via blood tests to ensure nothing is impacted (which is standard with all supplementation as a precaution when suffering from renal impairment). We hope this helps to answer your question. Please call our Customer Service team on 1800 777 648 if you would like to discuss this further.

I am pregnant 8 weeks and been on antibiotics for 2 weeks. I am tired of having recurring uti. Is this tablet safe for pregnancy?
Hi there, I started on the Urinary tract support tablets a few days ago and am thrilled to say it has really helped with my symptoms. The lady who advised me at the health food store suggested I start on a probiotic as well which I have. I have now developed thrush in my mouth. Is this from the Urinary tract support tablets, given that I am required to take so many whilst I still have symptoms or is this from the probiotic? From all the information I've read, it seems unlikely to be probiotic. I barely have symptoms now so would perhaps going down to the three tablets/four times a day help. Kind regards, Fran
Is this product safe while breastfeeding?
Hi, my daughter who is almost 3 has recurrent UTIs, is this supplement appropriate to use on her? And if so at what dose both preventatively and for an acute infection?
Sorry Kate I’m a man who found it useful for a time.
I’d suggest you ask your chemist shop, mine has a great naturopathic on staff at Discount Drug Stores Albany most helpful- perhaps a Doctor & tests would help.
I use all of these
Hope this helps you find what’s needed
Thank you for your question Kate. I am sorry to hear that your daughter is experiencing recurrent infections. I can confirm that yes, you can use Ethical Nutrients Urinary Tract Support to assist in the relief of her symptoms acutely and prevent re-infections, longer term.
Acutely we would recommend that she take 3 tablets twice a day, with food. The tablets are small, however, if she cannot swallow them you can crush them up and add them to a small amount of honey and she can take the mixture off the spoon. Alternatively you can add to some juice [the herbs will suspend not dissolve].
To help prevent further infections, we would recommend the ongoing dose of 1 to 1 and a half tablets per day – taken as above.
In addition, to support the preventative effects of Urinary Tract Support I would also highly recommend the use of Inner Health Candex SD. This is a specific probiotic formulation to prevent the adherence of bad bacteria and help her immune system. Supporting long term prevention and urinary tract health.

Do you have to take these with food or is it ok without?
I always had them with my meal whatever you have.
I’m not taking them lately - really cost driven but they did help
All the best
Hi Bill, thanks for your question. This product is suitable to consume on an empty stomach. If you have any further queries please do not hesitate to ask.
Hi for maintenace of healthy urinary tract, what is the proper maintenance dose for this product ? As according to the bottle its 3 tablets 4 times in a day. Is that right ? Or is it just 2 tablets twice a day ?
Well it worked well, but I gradually weaned off it completely. It was a great help in the beginning, but then eased off in effectiveness after a few months
Yes the dose is typically higher for this particular product, as it is based off of a traditional Chinese medicine herbal combination. Therefore the acute dose if 3 tablets 4 times per day. Once symptoms subside you can lower the dose. If you have any questions regarding this product please feel free to contact our technical support team on 1800 777 648.
Once you have got rid of the infection, is it safe to take just 2 tablets a day as a preventative or will your system get used to it?
Ethical Nutrients Urinary Tract Support is a fantastic product for acute care as well as maintenance. This product specifically works to clear heat, detoxify the blood, dissolve dampness and reduce stagnation. Once your infection has resolved you can continue to take this product at a dose of 2 tablets per day, to help support and tonify the kidneys as well as strengthen your immune system, to prevent the occurrence of another infection. In noting this if you would like to work on preventative care, I would highly recommend the support of a probiotic such as Inner Health Candex SB. This combination will work to reduce to re-occurrence of a UTI.
Don’t know that I had an infection, but after 6 months or so I too have reduced to 2am & 2pm
I tried 1but did not help so back to 2 I’m also having 60000 cranberry capsules & 2 Oxybutinin
Can this help an overactive bladder?
Can you take Ethical Nutrients UTI in smaller doses all the time as a preventative for Urinary Tract Infections?
Most probably you could. However, I would be getting a good probiotic to take as well. Faulding puts out very good ones which have many micro-organisms in them, citing that they are good for lower body problems, bowel and reproductive areas. I was taking Inner Health Plus before this one. Also have noticed that the Greek Yoghurt is rather good to have too. I am pretty sure my UTI was caused by yeast overgrowth or candida after doing a parasite cleanse during Autumn. Diluted Essential oil of teatree oil is very good massaged around the groin area too. Also I am occasionally taking Brauer Bladder Homeopathics. It does take a while for all this to settle down and not be so sensitive though. I am hoping all my fluid problems I once had will be cured by the effect of the nasty UTI.. Sometimes we can have weaknesses in our organs which have never been addressed since childhood. I try to grab a good cranberry drink every couple of weeks. Good luck with it all.
Yes you can. I believe it is 2 pills per day as a preventative. There are supplements all over the world that sell these ( in Canada we have one called UTI SUPREME. From a health food store). What I like about the product above is that it will cure a UTI in the later stages without having to take an antibiotic. I can't find any product in Canada that
Will do this. Hope this helps.
