I’m wanting to know the best setting to dry a normal load of clothes please, Also there is no water coming out of my dryer, I wish the instructions were better,

I just use ‘Extra Dry’ I think it’s called. I do keep an eye on it. The water should gather in the plastic tank in the top corner. You pull a handle to open it. It takes a while to gather.

Hi Sue, it looks like you already have an answer, the extra dry program has the highest spins and time. You can also try the cupboard dry program. Generally it would depend on the type of clothing you are drying. Thanks

Hi Sue. I used the provided hose to channel the water into a sink. If you haven't added the hose, the water will be in a tank that you will have to empty after every use. For normal clothes, I use the 'extra dry - cottons' mostly and then hit the 'dryness button' three times to make sure its completely dry. This isn't the same tech as a 'normal dryer' so it takes longer to dry but saves so much energy and cost. Takes about 3-4 hours so a good tip is to put it on at night when the electricity rates are lower (save even more money). Another tip, if drying big items like bed sheets, use the bedding function. It rotates the drum in different directions to stop it all bounding up into a ball (again hit the dryness button three times). Hope that helps

How long does it take to dry clothes please and which 7kg Euro maid is the best one to buy

Ross
Ross

About 3-4 hours if full. We tend to start it before we go to bed when electricity rates are lower. We have the 7kg one but can’t comment on the different models

Can you install this dryer on the wall with a mounting bracket and does it come with a mounting bracket?

Ross

No, it is 44 kg, so too heavy

Hi Matt, thank you for your question. It seems you already have an answer here. Unfortunately they are too heavy to wall be wall mounted. Thanks

My new Euromaid 7kg heat pump dryer emits an overwhelmingly strong rubber smell - from the time of unpacking. Used it 3 times and our clothes stink like a yyre factory. Even when not in use, it stinks out our laundry and the smell wafts throughout the house. What is it and how to get rid of it? Thanks

Hi I am having the same issue - the dryer has been smelling the house out and any washing we put into the dryer retains the rubber smell for days. Were you able to resolve this at all?

Can I know if this is still a problem or how you rectified it? I'm considering buying, but want to know what the suction is. Thanks.

Hi Alison, it remains a problem. I contacted Euromaid by phone and explained the problem. The so- called customer service person at Euromaid began her response by saying the 'smell' is not covered under warranty. Outrageous given that i told her the smell in our clothes and house was overwhelming, and it was not a new appliance smell as she suggested. I ended up wiping every possible inside surface numerous times. Washed the foam filters many times. But the fumes and smells continue. I will not use it to dry my clothes, only towels. This dryer is simply not fit for purpose. The matter s being escalated to the ACCC. I would NOT recommend this dryer to anyone...not even Putin! Should've purchased the Electrolux

I have just purchased and I am having the same issues. The clothes reek of rubber. It’s not fit for purpose and it certainly can’t be healthy.
